Zipper flippers, 3 ball multi-ball, right side gate and Wiggle Alley, there's a lot to like in the Wiggler. It's the artwork that's the most intriguing though. Quite attractive for one of the pointy people backglasses. How the name "The Wiggler" inspired that art is the most baffling part.

This machine was a real surprise. Designed by Harry Williams, known for his innovative features, this one incorporates a hidden slot machine in its "Star" feature. If you put in a second coin, a match is activated after every ball. 5 matches scores 200 games which is why it has 3 digits for logging earned games. There's a gobble hole in the center which will score games for 3 or more balls dropped in and 2 separate Special rollovers activated by scoring the 10 numbers. It also has a kickout hole which score one of those numbers randomly. You can also score games on points. If you have ever considered owning a woodrail this one would be a great choice.

It's the best bowling style game I've played. Rollovers in the 10 pin configuration in the center, touch them all for a strike, 3 strikes is an extra ball every strike after that is a free game. A good skill shot can earn a strike to start. A left side gate and a center post can help keep the ball in play. Plus, progress towards opening the gate passes on ball to ball and player to player.

The best strategy is to play off of the 4 slingshots facing each other to get the best side to side "pin action". Usually one shot can wipe out 6 or 7 pins. Plus if you keep the ball moving side to side it's less likely to drop the center post since the Drop Post button is a good ways above the post. Picking up the last couple of pins is the real challenge similar to picking up a spare in bowling. It's a challenging game with simple rules, pretty much like bowling itself.

I love the double theme, the movie and the drive-in experience. Fairly simple rule set the is easy to beat.

A tough game to play with factory settings, but since I own one I made much simpler to make progress in the rule set which is incredible. Only game I know of that messes with the flippers during play to add to the challenge. It will even swap the buttons for the flippers (Left button triggers right flipper and right triggers left.) Love it.

Great game. Very friendly even novices can keep the ball on play for a considerable amount of time.

Too many death shots on this one. A weak shot at the electric chair, tombstones or left ramp tends to send the ball straight down the middle.

Fun machine not hard to understand why it still is the best selling machine in history.

Excellent game, lots of variety in the shots. Friendly machine, no death shots.

I wish I owned one, so I could explore the rule set more completely and possibly get good at it. Lots of toys and unique features. A truly great machine but my games have always been short, very discouraging.

Even though the shots are very repetitive, it's fun to knock out Martians. The only weak point of the game is the center shot to kill the spaceships. A missed shot usually stalls and heads straight down the middle.

This is still my favorite game to play. You don't have to be a Lord of the Rings fan to appreciate this game. The rule set is deep but not confusing. Most challenges have a series of shots that set up one another.
