This is another mini game for the P3 but it is really aimed at kids probably under the age of 5? It's a basic timed mode with unlimited balls. In that time you hit as many farm animals as possible (video animation on the playfield) and enter your name in the high score at the end. My 6 year old played it and had about 5 games on it - fairly excited by it at the time - but then I started up ROCS and Cannon Lagoon so he's hooked on those now instead. Good to get young kids into Pinball but not great lastability.

This is another mini game on the P3. Remember Asteroids at the arcades (or on the Atari 2600)? This is that game only better graphics and you hit the asteroids with a pinball to destroy them. The popup walls work really well to restrict the playable area to just the LCD and individual walls will drop revealing scoops which you shoot to progress to the next level. Spaceships randomly appear at the top of the screen and can be hit which can provide "powerups" such as an increase to your shield (for your flippers), extra ball etc.

The lighting is excellent - the P3 allows you to adjust the colour of the lighting to anything you like for the Backbox Translite, P3 logo and playfield so I've gone for a dark blue which works well with the space theme.

When your shield runs out and your flippers are hit by an asteroid they will sustain damage (100% down to 0%) - the really cool part about this is that the flippers actually get weaker so after a few hits your left flipper might be at 20% and your right flipper still around 70% - when you hit with the left flipper it's so weak it will only just bounce over to your right flipper where you can then hit it fairly hard to destroy asteroids, hit a scoop etc. And when it's 0, all you can do is watch the ball roll down the flipper and drain and there's nothing you can do about it.

Very fun and one of those games that you can tend to have "just one more go". Better than that it doesn't matter what playfield is in your P3 it will still be available to play so you can switch and play it whenever you like and without having to even remove the glass.

This is more of a ticket redemption style game but it's a lot of fun. My kids love it. There a basically 5 shots that sit in front of an lcd screen showing ships going back and forth and the aim is to shoot those ships and sink them. It's timed for each level and you have a certain number of ships you have to get in that time limit. The ships increase in number and speed for each level. First 3 levels are pretty easy but then it starts to get harder - level 5 is pretty difficult but then you're rewarded with a bonus level which is very cool (I haven't beaten that one yet). All up pretty fun and something that non-pinheads like. Honestly my kids don't really care for my pins:( but the P3 has suddenly got them very excited. And that's a good thing for the future of pinball.

This is a hard one to rate because it's more of a mini-game for use with the exiting Lexy Lightspeed playfield. It gives you 8 balls (1 at a time) which gives you 8 chances to lock each ball into Lexy's saucer and then starts off the Secret Agent Multiball. It's a great way to practice that mode and a nice quick game. Because it uses Lexy graphics, sound, playfield etc it's all very similar. But then again it's also really cheap if you already have Lexy (at time of writing $99 US on the multimorphic store).

I said I'd update this a year later - I've now had the game for about 15 months - it still gets more plays than my other machines and I still haven't got to the Wizard Mode yet so it's definitely keeping me entertained. Add to that the new Cabinet (swappable) artwork that has recently come out, the new lcd backbox and the ability to swap out for other games continues to keep the game fresh. It's still a keeper for me.

I love this game. Maybe it's because it's new, maybe it's because it's different or maybe it's all of the above. I will update this review in a year's time (if I remember) and see what the lastability is like then but for now I am loving it. I checked my stats and I've had over 200 games on it so far. Obviously there's the LCD playfield which is interactive (hit the beer glasses to fill, hit them again to drink, roll over the crates to bust them open and collect parts for the spaceship etc etc). The playfield adds another dimension to the game but it's also really informative - pointing out shots to go for and having the scoring on the screen and not having to look up to read it is a game changer too. IT shoots smooth and plays well - the mini 180 ramp is nice to hit and the 8 ball lock UFO is great. The ability to change games and playfield makes this a no brainer for people/pubs/barcades etc that don't have much room for multiple machines and allows you to swap games less than a minute and same for the magnetic cabinet artwork - can change the whole look of the cabinet in no time at all.

There are a lot of rules and I haven't worked them all out yet - I'm still struggling to complete some of the modes successfully - they are timed and quite difficult to achieve. Some very clever game/hardware design elements have been incorporated also. For example there's a sharp shooter multiball mode where you have to hit the middle target to score bullseyes but it disables the ability to hold the flipper up - makes it so much harder to aim.

All up I am really happy with this but the best part is how modular everything is and how easy it is to work on. I've had a bit of a play around with disassembling the components and everything is really easy to get to. Flipper assemblies is a complete assembly which can be slid out, same with the lcd screen cover, lcd - back playfield can be pulled out in a couple of seconds. It's going to be very easy to work on if/when a fault occurs. You can pull out complete modules and work on them on your bench and slide them back in later.

All up a fantastic machine and one that will never leave my collection.

Fun game - I would play this over a Ghostbusters any day (although I really want to like Ghostbusters the Zombie Yeti artwork is so good and I love the theme). Flows well and feels really nice to shoot. Toybox is a cool toy as well.

Love this game. Fast and fun with a deep ruleset. Very enjoyable and plays well. Very good pin to have for a first buy or if you only space for one in a collection.

I really wanted to like this. I'm a ghostbusters fan and a Zombie Yeti fan. The artwork is fantastic, the music and sounds are great. And there's so much on the machine. It really looks the part. But I just don't enjoy playing it. I find it very frustrating and it feels clunky. Every time I see one I have another go at it but I just keep getting frustrated.

Meh - good to have if you already have an RFM so you can swap it in and play it for a few weeks, then go back to RFM for a few months. Rinse and repeat.

Light sabre is pretty cool, sound is great but game itself doesn't have much. Very easy for newcomers to play and they enjoy it. Something different to have in your collection though.

Great game that non-pinheads gravitate to. The animations and graphics are a bit dated compared to today's efforts but they get the job done and along with the callouts make it very entertaining. Game plays very fast. I really enjoy this game (Star Wars Ep1 not so much).

My wife's favourite pin - probably because she's good at it. Love the artwork, love the gameplay, sound and humour. If it had a deeper ruleset and wasn't so easy it would be perfect.

Love everything about this machine except for the ruleset fairly shallow and the wizard mode feels unfinished. However it's really fun to play and the toys and magnets along with the smooth and fast flow make this a great machine to have in a collection. Newbies gravitate to this and can make some progress (and usually the cool trunk multiball) so it's great for non-pinheads too.

Great machine - elements on the playfield are beautiful to look at and it's very fun to play. DMD animations and sound are great. I haven't had too many issues with the POA, airballs or the mode start hole but I do wish the pop bumpers did a bit more to randomise the ball play and were a bit more snappy (might be just my machine).

This is a hard one to recommend - there's no real modes. The key is trying to stack up the multiballs in order to increase your jackbox (30 Million) - two locks for multiball (castle and coffin). The mist feature is brilliant. The game plays well - it's fast to play but the game is hard - very hard. You feel a great sense of achievement when you play the game well and then the next few games I play terribly. If you like a challenge and you have some other machines in your collection it's worth getting and will definitely make you a better player. I absolutely love this pin - the sound and callouts are great and the whole atmosphere of the game is fantastic. But if this is your first/only pin and you aren't an avid player you might want to look at something a bit simpler.

What I love about Twilight Zone is that there is so much on it - it's an exceptional machine for it's time. Lots of toys - the gumball machine is awesome and the powerball is pretty cool. A lot of stop and go action though so if you like high speed flowing games I don't know if I would recommend this for you.

I love this game - I hated it when I first saw it and played it. It looked too gaudy and I didn't like the theme. I let if pass and purchased a Theatre of Magic instead. I picked one up years later and with the Home version of the rom the game plays really well. It's fast, it's smooth, the sound, lighting and animations are great - the Ringmaster is a clever toy as well. It has a whole lot of multiballs as well. It's not the deepest game and it's quite easy to get through to the wizard mode - but there's quite a few of them as well and with the home version you get different wizard modes on the second run through (although I haven't made it through those yet). All up a very fun game and one I keep going back to play a lot.

Not too bad but sound effects and music very similar to Jurassic Park and not as much fun (IMHO). The Death Star lock isn't too bad as well as being able to use the shooter rod/handle to lower the death star target and shoot storm troopers is okay. R2D2 jumps around when the ball goes under him. Again very similar to JP but I prefer the dino toy to the R2 and/or Death Star as far as that goes and more modes in JP. Backglass artwork is really nice and animations are pretty good. I did purchase this at one point as I was a star wars fan and remembered playing this from earlier in my childhood but after a number of games didn't feel there was much left to do on it so grabbed a TZ instead. (Note I haven't played with updated rom so can't comment on that).
