I own an IMVE and I am a huge fan of the 1st movie so this pin is a dream theme to me. I love the art (both backglass and side art) and think the music and call outs are really well done. Dots are a letdown but the color DMD upgrade really adds a more 'finished' feel to the game. With a shaker, sub and volume turned up, I scare the dogs and the neighbors. The game at times (many times) is brutal, fast and unforgiving but that also seems to make a good game all that more enjoyable. You can have 5 games in 10 minutes but the machine seems to call you back for just that chance to reach greatness. Addictive and fun.

Unique layout that can have balls come at you fast and brutal if you are not ready for it. I really like the multiple modes with some dark humor tossed in. Deadworld is a cool idea but am I the only one that thinks it should have been smaller because it takes up so much real estate? I see some people say widebody pins are too slow. I beg to differ on this pin.

If you want to brag about being a 30 second wonder, this could be your game. Holy crap can this thing destroy you in short order. But..............when you get into a groove on this game, it rocks (literally with the sound cranked up) You may make up new swear words when you play this game and that kind of grief may turn some people away. Otherwise crank it up, wake the kids, scare the dog and see if you can get to Jerico.

This was one of 2 pins in an arcade that I used to spend a lot of time in. In the beginning I played this more than Twilight Zone but as I started to rack up free games all the time I quickly grew bored with the machine and put almost all of the quarters into TZ. I like some of the toys and loved the call outs but I guess I only consider this a training pin

Why is it that the bragging rights of playing AFM is how many gazillions of points you can score in one game. Yes people always talk about how high their score is on a game but they also add how much fun they had and/or what a challenge it was. AFM players "Dude I just scored 2,000 Quadrillion points" end of conversation.

A very nice looking game and..........................a very nice looking game. Lastability? No Fun factor. low. Man if that plastic gets dirty it gets tough to see things. A nice looking game...........

Would this have been more fun if it was a regular size playfield? I would like to think so because I really like the idea of the animations above the field and the great graphics they had going with it. I love how modular the game is to take apart and transport but center ramp shot, center ramp shot, center ramp shot kills it for me

The cackling can get old fairly quickly but this has been alot of fun to play. The shooter is a nice touch and I had fun playing this a bunch of different times.

Hey Taxi! Really wish this had a way to mute some of the callouts. I played a bunch of games on this but mostly because there was nothing else around. Not a fan of the game at all but at least I didn't walk away.

How many times can you destroy the castle in a game soon becomes how many times can you destroy the castle on each ball. A nice looking game with some great callouts but as some players will admit, kinda easy. Just like some people who like to be seen with a model, if you want eye-candy hanging off your arm, here ya go.

A friend has this in his collection and I have put a bunch of games on it. Not near enough of a challenge on this game for me. The Elvira callouts go very well with the theme and that is probably while I still put some games on this pin.

When I first played this game out in the 'wild' it beat me badly. I played a few more games on it and the game mocked me. After wasting I good amount of money in it, I really warmed up to the game with its rules and challenges. I have played on some very nicely restored machines over the years and when everything is working, I really like a few (or more) games on this.

I owned the game just under a year and put around 400 games on it. The game is deep, love the callouts but I never got dragged into the game. A game that is easy to add figures and such to and it is a pretty game to look at but again it just seemed like a chore to start a game. Yes I can spend a lot of time playing it but I just didn't want to half of the time. Tough to put a finger on it, maybe it was the playfield layout or not being impressed with the path of the dead at all. Maybe I will want to get back into this game at a later date but I am not holding my breath.

It seems like the jump rope in the corner of the game has 3 types of reviews 1. I love it 2. Meh 3. Why the hell are you wasting space in the pinball for this? I am a #3 and that is pretty much my overall feeling of the game. If you don't like that gimmick, the rest of the game will probably be downhill. I do not like the middle ramps of hit, hit, hit. If you like the jump rope 'toy' you might really like the pin. #3

I owned this machine for just over a year but I had to let it go. It was not just that I needed the room for another game but that over time, we played the game less and less. Guests coming over liked to play the game but once you get more than a few games on it, you find that the shallow rules can kill the fun and it is hard to justify spending time on the game. If you have the room or a large collection, this game makes a great decoration all lit up.

I have owned this game for 10yrs now and still really like the looks of the pin from the yellow cab to the pinball topper topper that shows your reflection with the pinball wizard arrows poiinting at you. Like many people have said before, the blinders are one of the coolest toys put into a pinball machine. A game of Tommy is an adventure that seems much better if you are familiar with the Tommy 'history'. I would have preferred the Who to actually do the audio over the braodway version but that is my biggest gripe. Challenging modes, a tough right ramp and the need to smash a mirror makes this high on the 'fun-a-bility' chart for me

If you read my TSPP story posted here, you can see that this game really impresses me. I have put almost 3000 games on it in less than a year. I have actually worn out my flipper switches. The game is incredibly deep, complex and fun. There is many, many different things to do, many different goals to achieve that keeps me coming back to that start button. You say that there is too much stop and go for you? Many animations can be bypassed by pressing both flipper buttons at the same time. Game is still too stop and go? Try to get the Simpson characters in the car which has to be done by starting couch multiball (locking 3 balls into the upper playfield) and then getting balls back up to the upper playfield and back up to the couch while keeping multiball happening. By the way that only gets one character in the car, keep getting those balls back up there. Not enough of a challenge? Have you beaten Alien invasion or scored a large amount of points during reverse flippers? At least you are better than Homer, but can you beat TSPP?

I think that I should probably start my ratings with the line that I have at least 20 to 100 games on the games I have rated (or in the case of TSPP, I have almost 3000 games on that one). I will not rate a game after only a few plays or playing on a machine with obvious mechanical problems. I like the DMD placement.....I think that is my list of likes. I am not a fan of the blown out colors or the backglass. A plastic ball in a metal spiral? Again not a fan. I do not like the rules or gameplay and have no desire to throw more money in it (maybe some free games in someones collection). If you like fluff over quality content, go nuts, not my cup of tea. I met Jpop, I like Jpop, he is a hell of a nice guy, I hope his new Zombie pin is an instant hit. I do not like this pin.

I will not rate a game after only a few plays or playing on a machine with obvious mechanical problems. This game has probably taken more money from me that all other pins! I would drive miles out of my way in Chicago to go to the arcade the had Twilight Zone and Addams family. TZ got the majority of my money every time. Love the layout, callouts and overall challenge. I am a big fan of newer pins with the deep rules and challenges (sorry but LOTR came and went even with the deep rules, never got dragged into it) TZ is one of my favorite pins that has drawn me to it for years and years.

I like the look of this game when the saw mod and trunk 'bling' have been added and I honestly think the artwork is not bad at all. Gameplay and callouts do not make want to plunk anymore money into the coinbox. Hit the trunk and.............hit the trunk and........ It is not all that simple but at times it feels like it. Rough guess of around 50 games or so on this and I rate so many more games worthy of my money.

I think that I should probably start my ratings with the line that I have at least 20 to 100 games on the games I have rated (or in the case of TSPP, I have over 3000 games on that one). I will not rate a game after only a few plays or playing on a machine with obvious mechanical problems. I like the looks of Monster Bash! There I said it but I go rapidly downhill after that. Callouts are not bad and again I really like the artwork but it does nothing for me with over 50 games on it and it is not a game that draws me in or challenges me. I expect more from a pin than just a few minutes of happy flailing and my rating shows that. I am not a Bally/Williams basher(I even named my dog BALLY (the pinball puppy!)) I do not agree straight 10's with no reason or 1's across the board because of a hater. I like somethings about this game but it is too shallow and not exciting enough for me in my collection that is limited to 4 games.

This is one of those games that drags you back again and again. Fun and extremely challenging for those players that want test the depth of their skills at different shots and quick reactions. Upper loops with the upper right flipper are tough to get past 4 loops or so. Getting all 7 letters is a challenge that most never conquer. Give me this over a pretty game like TOTAN, TOM or CV any day of the week

Played more than 40 games on this and I am not a fan. The look is great and that it was first draws you in to play. That lasted maybe 5 or 6 games for me. No depth and no fun after 20 games or so.
