Scared Stiff overall has a pretty shallow ruleset and isn't that difficult to 'beat', even so it is still a lot of fun to play. It has a good balance of theming and cheesy humor which is what makes many of the Williams games of this era so memorable. The first time you complete the Stiff 'O Meter you will think the machine is having a meltdown.

I want to like this game. I guess I'm just not crazy about the theme. "LION MAN" That could only get old if you hear it like 100X per game... Oh Wait you do. I also find the flipper sword noise annoying. I will admit, for a System 11 Game, this has A LOT to do. Upper play-field is neat. I think if this same layout was used for another theme, I would like it a lot better.

I know this is a "Classic Williams" game, but I just don't enjoy is as much as other classics made in this same era. The call outs are very repetitive and other than getting the metamorphosis completed (which is just the same shot over and over) there's just not that much to do with this game. With this being a WPC game, I feel like there should be a lot more to do. I enjoy many System 11 games wayyy more than this one.

I'll admit, I'm not a huge Stern fan, but I am grateful that they are still making machines and all that the do for this hobby. Having said that... Did we really need another Star Wars Pin? I am a big Star Wars fan... but Meh, I just wasn't that entertained playing this game. I found the play to be very repetitive and boring. After playing a few games, I have no desire to play it ever again.

When comparing this game to others, you have to remember the era it was made in. I think this is one of the best system 11 games out there and for sure an underrated game. The secondary green GI lighting (condition green) has a wow effect that never gets old. The light show when scoring a jackpot is pretty amazing and satisfying also. Even though it only has alpha numeric display, it does some pretty cool animations. This game also has some of the best High Score music and seeing your name dance around on the display to the music is also very satisfying.

The theme is a perfect fit for pinball. This game epitomizes classic pinball it’s the perfect blend of the cheesey humor that makes the machines of this era so great. I both like and dislike how easy this machine is. It’s nice to be able to ‘complete’ this game so easily but it doesn’t make you work as hard for it as others of this era. Music isn’t my favorite but it has some great callouts.

Rating it on the original code it's ok, obviously it leaves a lot to be desired. However running it with continued code and it makes all the difference. This game with the continued code is a lot of fun and one of my favorite.

This is a fun game for sure. Lot's of cool use of magnets. Music is good, call outs are good too. I was disappointed when I achieved the grand finale, you complete it and that's it, the story restarts.

There's not alot of Stern Tables that I 'love', but I genuinely love playing this game. Very fast game with a really deep rule-set. Great theme and lot's of great callouts.

I finally had the chance to play this game on a location. I had really high expectations. Man was I disappointed. The one I played was beat to hell so that probably didn't help. Even still, call outs were meh, game play was slow. Just didn't like it.

By far not the most advanced or complicated table to master. Rules are simple and easy to accomplish. Cannon is unique and adds a different but fun element to the game. It's a fun game to play and it keeps you coming back for more. They made 15,000 of these for a reason.

I had the chance to play this wile visiting Salinas, CA for work. I've never seen the movie. But I have to say this was a really fun machine to play. Fun call outs and really good flow, It honestly felt like I was playing a Williams game from the 90s.

First let me say, I haven't seen the movies. I had a chance to play this at a show and wasn't to impressed. I got a chance to play it again on location and played several games and it really grew on me. I really liked the flow of the game, Multiball is crazy, but a lot of fun. The soundtrack on this game is awesome!

I initally hated this game due tue the contstant center drain. With a center post mod installed this game is a lot of fun. Lots of different modes and things to do. I still can't get used to mass hysteria multiball when flipper buttons are reversed.

Artwork on playfield is unique and absolutely beautiful.

TAF was always high on my list.... until I actually owned it. I love the movies. I thought I would get it and love it... But it just never clicked with me. I enjoyed playing it now and then, but found it to be to easy and repetitive. I know it's the best seller of all time... but it's just not one I would ever care to own again.

This is my number one and I think it always will be. The theme is timeless and will never get old. It's a simple table, but it's just so much fun to play. The call outs are hilarious and rewarding. Hearing the martian yell SSSSUUUUPPPPERRRRR JAAACCKKKPPPOOTTT! Never get's old. On the somewhat rare occasions that I get to rule the universe it's so much fun to achieve. This one will never leave my collection. I'm glad they are remaking this table. I hope many more people get the chance to play this table. This table does Pinball as a whole justice.

A Williams classic for sure. Great original theme that will never get old for me. I hope one day that I will get to own one.

I don't know if it's all the hype or what... But this game just does nothing for me. Every time I play it I get bored quick. Unpopular opinion I know, but every time I play it i'm just left wanting more.

EDIT: I have played this game a few more times recently. I must admit.. It is growing on me. We will see.

2nd follow up. I had the opportunity to buy an orginal MM at a decent price. So I bit the bullet and bought it. I've now had the chance to play in depth and hear all the call outs. I can see how this game is rated so high. I enjoy it for sure, but it's still not my number one.... top 3 for sure!

I've owned this game for a little while now and I absolutely love it. It is absolutely my favorite system 11 game. The music is perfect for the time it was made. Light shows are some of the best of this era. Lights.... Organ! Scoring the 3 million shot gives you an epic organ score and light show. It just doesn't get old for me.

It would be really hard for me to let this game go.
