Ever since I was a young girl...

Ever since I was a young girl I've played the silver ball. It's true I met my husband some place that had a pinball machine, a jukebox and a pool table. Now we meet people who help us raise money for our soldiers who fight in these wars. You see, all our machines are on coin play 50 cents per game. So we have raffles, sell food, beer donation bucket and listen to those 80's tunes pumpin' out of the jukebox. We use the money to buy anything our soldiers want. I'm not talking about Halloween candy. It's boots, walkie talkies, DVD players, DVDs, uniform items or even Hooters t-shirts anything the platoon sergeant asks for. Pinball parties are the only real social life we have. Who'd come over to visit us if we didn't have these machines? It's not for everyone because set-up and clean-up are no fun. A recent party was for the Cincy Pinball Club we met the fifth world rated player, Trent. Sometimes we just have pinball parties just for the love of the hobby and get others interested, but most are for our military folks. Our biggest accomplishment in life is probably being a member of the Class of 2011 Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame under Linda Lou (Loupie) & Richard Hart.
