Fun game, failrly shallow. Likely better in a larger collection.

Didn’t last long, too barren, artwork and animations are pretty weak.

Once all the issues like airballs are addressed, it’s really a very fun game.

Great game, nice change from the cookie cut games of the past few years.

Beautiful game, but just didn’t click with me and my family.

Really an amazing game, deep rule set, fantastic artwork and sound and a very immersive game. Quality is second to none and there are a lot of little things that have been done that put the game over the top. Only knocks are that it is very hard to figure out for a casual player, the modes may seem somewhat repetitive and the shot variety can feel limited. In a home environment you have much more time to appreciate and try to understand the game. On route, you will never be able to figure it out. Theme integration is about the best out there.

similar layout to Ironman, but the rules and how the game is played are completely different. Not as hard as iron man, but just as fun, maybe more. Lots of toys, even on the pro, rule set is good and game is crazy fast.

good deep rule set, nice layout, fun toys. overall a great family pin. Ball times can be long or very short, not a particularly easy game to get through, but it's definitely possible and a ton of fun trying. Theme integration is done well.

Cool game, a bit too stop and go, but its a fun game overall. Worth owning at some point. Probably better in a larger collection.

Pretty difficult game, not too deep, but a lot of fun. One of the best of its time.

One of the best games from this era. Just an overall really fun game with a great theme.

Tough pin with short ball times, but can be very rewarding. Game benefits from alternate sound code and better LED lighting with colors instead of bright white.

Never had this game on my wish list. Took it in on a trade and have to say I really like it. Layout Reminds me a lot of ironman. not a difficult game, though outlanes can be tough, but it's fun and there are quite a few shots. Cannon is a nice toy and the rules seems to be done pretty well. Sound quality is pretty bad, but it's a 25 year old game, hooked to an external sub it sounds good. Callouts could be better. Good value game, but price is rising on these pretty quickly.

What can I say, it's a 10 all around.

Great game, well integrated them, wide variety of shots and modes, moderately difficult. Slower paced game, but can be brutal if you can't control the ball. Didn't last very long in my collection, just too slow and a bit boring, didn't help that I am not a STTNG fan.

Really underrated game. If this were put out today with a different theme, it might be a top 20 game. Tons of shots, pretty deep and very difficult. Theme could be better, but you just hav to laugh when you play it...cheesy Baywatch. People flock to it, great multiplayer game. Add a shaker and mirrors if you can.

People say this is an easy game, and it is in many respects, except for completing the spider wheel, that's a very tough feat. Overall, this is a really fun pin, ground breaking (think destroy the ring in LOTR), it's a fantastic theme, great lighting and callouts and the epitome of what 90s pins were all about. It's a top 10 game for me, but because it's easy and repetitive, it didn't last and I sold it.

One of Stern's best. Really well put together. Theme, rules, sound and look and feel, all top notch.

One of the best, "just one more time" games. Like the short ball times and challenge.

Very fun and pretty deep game. Not easy to score by any means, lots of variation, doesn't get old. A bit like TZ, and underrated.

Very difficult, but extremely fun game. The kind of game that makes you want to push start just one more time. Pretty simple rules and not terribly deep, but stacking the 3 MBs is no easy task. Does have much longevity once you start getting the three MBs going consistently. Shot variety very limited.

Really fun game, reminds me a bit of LOTR. A lot of shots to hits, seems like endless combos and modes, very cool magneto MB. Sound and artwork are top notch. quality seems very good. Definitely a shooters game, but this what pinball is all about, making shots, not flailing away at anything. Code could be just a bit more polished, notable with more xball chances. I really like the game a lot!

Very fun and addictive game. A bit shallow on rules, but has great flow around the playfield. Fits very good in a lineup with games that have deeper rules and longer games like TSPP and lotr. Great theme, kids love it, especially the siren and supercharger.

Great art work and call outs, among the best out there. Game is a lot of fun, though a bit repetitive, and might get old if it was your only pin. Perfect in a larger line-up, but I would not buy it at current prices as there is no value left IMO. Update: purchased an MMR LE and a very happy with it, both in terms of price and lastability. Won't be selling this one.

One of Stern's best. Not a fan of the theme, but doesn't matter, game is so much fun. A lot of shots to hit, deep rules, great sound and display, what's not to love about it. Destroying the ring is among the most satisfying accomplishments in pinball...then it's off to valinor!

Fun, simple, but challenging game. played it for years in the 70s and early 80s. Very reliable.

The more I play this game, the more I like it. Great flow and tough shots, but very satisfying when you can hit them. Sound is very good. A few bugs, but these have been ironed out. Some PF plastic seem cheap, but machine overall is solid. Game gets the most play in my collection.

Lots of fun, great game. A little shallow, but Good rule set, sound and animations. Nice playfield layout and objects. Definitely a classic and a must to own at some point. I sold it after about 6 months, too easy and repetitive.

Owned nice 2003. Very reliable machine, a lot of fun to play and quite challenging. Deep rules and lots of variability. I'm in the process of selling my machine, but not because I'm tired of it, just time to let someone else have fun with it. DMD is nice and the built in crude video game when you spell ESCAPE is pretty cool. At first glance seems like a basic wide open play field, but when you play it, you start to learn the intracacies, including selecting different doctors. I can play this game for hours and not get tired of it. Balls can drain quickly and rather easily along the sides, which draws laughter and straight shots off the time expander often can drain down the middle, but machine can be generous with "second chance." Loops are a lot of fun, I hit 17 in a row one time. High score for me was 1.4 billion. Highly recommend this machine and glad to see its rating in the 50s. Oh, btw, I'm not a fan of the show at all, yet still love the game.

I owned this game in the 80s and most of the 90s. It was not a particularly reliable machine and ultimately sold it when the voice gave out. When it was working, it was an amazing game, never got tired of it and during its heyday was the machine to own. Would love to own it again if it were more reliable. Multiball, multilevel play field and manga save were ground breaking, especially when you consider the games of just a few years earlier such as Atlantis and Volley, which I also owned at the time.

Can't imagine any machine being better than this...the gold standard on so many levels. I'm a huge Simpsons fan and the game is very authentic. Great sounds and detailed play field. The rules are very deep and balls can be played for quite a while or take a shot off the nuclear reactors and see the ball drain down the middle. I've had the machine new from 2003 and still can't beat alien invasion. Best of all, my 5 and 8 year old love it, which means the game will have a lot of staying power.
