Quite simple repetitive pinball with few modes, but greatly designed for flow and instant fun. In many aspects very similar to Creature (which is good). The feature that ball goes on the flipper you just need to is fckin great idea and its big shame it isnt used on other machines.

And the art...........is awesome!! Cartoon like playfield and translite, whole playfield is like small world (like WW), nice and perfect!! Its one of the most beautiful pins from 90s.

In my eyes its one of the best fun/price ratio pins.

Beautiful playfield artwork, backglass is worse but still one of the best looking tables. Quite simple layout with only one ramp to shoot and irritating lamp in the middle. Unusual and interesting idea is "second orbit" with bumpers in upper right part. Good classic rules and good flow.

It definitely is kind of "opus magnum" in pinball world, but overall its not that much fun as it looks. I have it at home and spent lot of days really trying to love it and understand the hype around TZ.

Pros:
- possibility to play modes simultaneously which gets you in to game and make feel like "everywhere is something happening"

- deep and complex rules, but nothing you cant handle after while

- lot of sounds and music themes

- Powerfield with "magnet flippers" is fun

Cons:

- Super "Stop and Go" kind of pinball. No flow at all.

- One of smallest playfields ever (yes it is widebody, but actual playfield is tiny because of brutal waste of space)

- Few layout mistakes like bumpers too low and close to outlane, lot of hard spots close to flippers, this pin can be very unfair to player

- Quite repetitive gameplay after while because nearly all important shoots are from left flipper - right orbit "Gumball", slot machine hole, lock hole, right ramp "Powerfield", you can even shoot left ramp. The right flipper is actually only for shooting left ramp

- Useless toys and gimmicks which takes huge part of space on the field:
Mechanical clock are really only piece of junk to malfunction, you never look on it during play.
Gumball is almost same useless (ball goes in....and another goes out....wow, its amazingly smart piece of engeneering;)
Powerball (ceramic ball) is too light to play pinball with, so its just bouncing and jumping all around, falling from ramps, dont goes properly to Lock hole, jumps over flippers etc. Its not fun its simply stupid!

Only good toy on TZ is the Powerfield.

- Whole playfield looks terrible unfinished, like some prototype. There is lot of uncovered mechanical parts, uncovered wires and many wierd spots. Its simply not too nice playfield to look.

- Theme is a little problem. TV series itself is cool no question, but almost nobody knows it these days so its weird connected with gameplay. Why Im collecting some robots or hitchhikers. Why Im shooting piano, camera or slot-machine. Why is some town square on playfield...

It has weird playfield layout but with awesome playfield art. The bigest fail of design is that most of shots are blind and you are trying to hit something under upper playfield.

Im not fan of Popeye, but I like arcade themes, so its ok. Deep ruleset could be interesting for home playing, but afterall its for sure weakest table from Widebody/Superpin series.

Holy cow its bad pin. Looks very cheap and nothing to do on playfield. I dont like Stern tables but this is over the top.

Another piece of s**t by Stern. Boring layout without any idea. Poor ruleset and moving "Mick Jagger target" is annoying. Its terrible pin as Mustang and many more Stern mistakes.

Probably best playfield design whot I saw on Sega machine. Good rules, nice animations and funny details like shark and orange side flippers. Shame are cheap and cheesy looking art.

It looks like theme is problem for lot of people. I wasnt fan of BW series, but now its funny retro, so theme is ok for me.

Playfield have lack of invention, idea, gimmick, or anything. Its really boring pin and its just another in row of modern Stern poor pinballs.

Art of all table is terrible. Playfield art isnt actually art, there are only stupid simple symbols. Backglass is the same simple and boring.....5min in Photoshop:)

Cant believe its rated so high on this site. Big disappointment for me. Shiny new LEDs dont mean its good pinball guys!!

Simple pin, but easy and accessible fun for beginers. Nice backglass, but not so nice playfield art.

Table with great unique atmosphere of noir detective story, which is awesome. The "back loop ramp" in the center of playfield is also unique idea. Plus part of "gambling" and chance with slot machine and rulette. Rules could be deeper and more complex, thats true.

For me its great fun and awesome pin, really different than other pins.

Simply great pin. No special features but everything is right where it should be for nice flow and fun. Good rules for beginners, but enough deep for long time playing. Awesome!!

Not extra deep but good rules, original classic arcade theme and really great fast flow and fluent gameplay. If you are more flow kind of player - one of the best playfiels ever designed. Its one of the genius pins which is understandable for beginners but challenging for advanced players - great fun for years.

Vacation Jackpot is one of most challenging "wizard modes"

Despite the simple rules its very fun to play and connection of art, theme, music and humor of the pin is fantastic and super cool. This table have style like no other.
