I was a child of the '60's that grew up across the street from a bowling alley. Needless to say, I played a lot of pinball. I played religiously until the '90's when the pins basically disappeared. Although pinball never left my mind, you can't play them if you can't find them. Fast forward to the beginning of 2014. I Googled something (not pinball related). When I clicked on images, I noticed a pic of a pin. I'm not sure why it was there, but clicked on it out of curiosity. I started discovering things like Pinside, pinball events and tournaments, etc. Amongst my findings was the upcoming Louisville expo. I just happened to be going to Louisville that weekend, so I had to check it out. When I walked in the door and heard the sounds of all of the games being played, I knew that I was in for the long run. After that, I went to Kalamazoo, Allentown, and Clay's museum in Ann Arbor. I have been lurking on Pinside for months but decided to sign up since I just bought my first pin (High Speed). I have resolved a few issues on my game already thanks to Pinside and my learning has just begun.
