I got into pinball at a pretty young age. I was that annoying little snot nosed kid that just liked watching the shinny ball fly around and bounce off things that made nosie. Being born in '81 I grew up in a mostly soild state filled era. My mother was seemingly a pinball fan that would pull a chair over to the table so I could play once she was done with her game, or sometimes be player two. I'd first discover electro mechanical tables at my biological grandfathers place. I'd litterally have to be dragged away from the table.
As I got older I found myself drawn to pinball more than anything else in the arcade. By the time I hit highschool in the later part of the ninties arcades were mostly histroy but the local Godfathers had several now iconic and classic Williams/Bally tables. I "honed" my laughable skills on the likes of Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure, The Adams Family and finally the table that made me round the bin into "I will love pinball forever" with Twilight Zone. T2: Judgement Day at a local 7-11 is in that mix as well.
Since pinball became more rare as I got older anytime I see a table out in the field I must play. The Far Sight Pinball Arcade brought my love of things Pin back to the forefront. A trip to the Pinball Hall of Fame, where I nearly lost my mind walking through row after row of amazing pin history at the amazing place in the summer of 2012 pushed me toward finally making a step long in the making since I was a kid. Purchase of my first table. I picked up a decent Gottlieb/Premiere 1994 Freddy: A Nightmare on Elm Street on December 26th 2012 as a combined X-mas/Birthday gift to myself.
