I first played an LE on location and was blown away with the smooth shots, the "Gottlieb" kickback above the right sling that was used similar to the ones on Gottlieb's Haunted House. All the ways the ball can travel are great with a nice rewarding feel when shots are made. Especially the two spinners!

Game plays like a faster Godzilla since on Godzilla, there is some stops and pauses, all used to good effect mind you, not so much on the Foo pin, only minor stop at the Overlord and Van. I liked the Foo LE so much, I traded my Godzilla LE and have zero regrets. This game seems to just have one more play for me.

Music is great for me, might not be for everyone. For a Music pin, I think the theme implementation about battling aliens is great since the music can keep you hyped and the animations on the monitor are hilarious at times (if you have time to watch during gameplay) think 70s Scooby Doo.

The cabinet art looks great and has the nice metallic shine on the LE, however I would have liked different art from side to side.

The sound quality was off for me, until I adjusted the settings and now it sounds like a true Rock pinball machine without needing new components. (LE comes with Kenwood speakers)

All and all, happy with my purchase and seeing what the Code evolves into.

My dad bought me this game back in 1984 due to good grades in school. Actually wanted Bally’s space invaders but that was too expensive. Think it was around $600-800 back then. He bought this perfect pin for $268. What a blast for almost 5 years of ownership. I sold it when I graduated from high school to a coworker before I went into the USMC FOR $230 since it was used. Never new to clean, wax , etc back then. Never dreamed this pin would be a collectors pin. I wonder if this game is still operational in Springford PA, but I am thankful to have played this great EM from 8th grade to 12th ! Beautiful artwork and classic Gottlieb chimes.

Just picked this LE up. Was planning on picking up a different game that my wife liked such as Bond 007 or a Munsters LE. However once she turned this game on and saw the lights, navi ball, magnet action, she was hooked. Is it a deep game, not really, but it is just fun, like Taxi or other late 80's pins. Theme is spot on, cabinet art and backglass are gorgeous. Playfield is nice for the time, but not amazing. As other have said, with upgraded speakers, it sounds amazing. It's amazing how much stuff you can pick up a nice speaker system. Add a few colored LEDs, possibly an extra toy, you can almost recreate your own Avatar world under glass. Very happy to have this semi exclusive pin since only 250 LE's were made. Will it last in the collection for years? That is for my wife to decide. But for now, it is not leaving any time soon, just too much fun. Plus, love the voice actors and the heckling they do.

This game, wow. From the foil cabinet artwork of my LE, to the mirrored backglass, and the amazing playfield. All other solid state games I’ve played or owned pale in comparison. It is a perfect ten. The shots, the cut scenes I grew up watching on TV, the amped up soundtrack, etc etc. so good.

If I had to rank the greatest of all time, I’d pause. Mainly I’d do it per era such as Grand Prix for EM, taxi for system 11, etc. However for the current modern 2000 something pin, Oh yes. It’s is that good. Spinners, orbit shots, wire ramps, sinking buildings, etc. Play it or buy it. You won’t be disappointed. And play it LOUD!!!! So good when getting the Godzilla multiball and blue oyster cult starts jamming as the building sinks into the playfield.

Recently received my Cactus Canyon SE and I must say the new coding is great! From light show to callouts, this game is just fun. Has every cliché in the books from bad John Wayne impersonations to all the ways a lady could be in trouble in the old western movies and novels.

I prefer this game over medieval madness for the variety of shots and toys. It has the hoping beer mug like on Elvira pins, bash toys, ramps, and a moving train! The animations on the huge display look great. Lots to see, sadly most people will miss them while playing the game. Love the shootout mode, never had a game that had this, very cool.

If you want a game that everyone can easily understand and have fun starting all the various modes, this is your game. Very happy with the purchase and I expect to have this pin for a long time. Especially after carrying it up 15 steps to the spare bedroom!

Just restored a safecracker for a friend. Amazing game. Only played it on my iPhone and Xbox before working on this cool (heavy) pin. The tokens are an amazing addition to the game. (Friend had enough tokens to fill tubes about 1/3 of the way up). Using them to play assault on the bank is an epic multiball experience. Even if this this is your only pin in a collection, (fits anywhere due to its smaller size) you won’t want for another. Fast and amazing Pat Lawlor fun. A color led dmd goes a long way with this game as all pins of the dmd era. Wish I had the room for this pin but wife keeps me at only 4 pins. But maybe 1 more?’!?!?!

This is a game that can best be enjoyed in the home. And with ball saves lol. I played it a few times in the arcade many years ago and was so lost on what to do, never came back. Give me Black Hole or Black Knight any day. Than, I played it years later at my friend’s house and discovered there is a lot more to this game. True, not for the casual player, Pat Lawlor’s intentions I think, but once you take the time to watch YouTube on how to play it, dang, what a game. The shots, power-ball, clock, wow. So much innovation crammed into a wide body pin. Star Trek the next generation is still king for me, but this is a wide body pin to impress and humble the best players.

Hot wheels is a pin that plays like a fast 1970's pin over a new Stern pin, and this is a good thing. The shots are a little tight, but not impossible. Love how the R/H outlane has access to the shooter lane with a little nudge!

The rule set is easy to follow for all modes, such as start a race, make the correct shots to move up race positions. This is especially cool because it makes the game NOT a one shot wonder like some other games have been.

Spell Battle, start a battle mode with clear objectives in which to shoot. Battle modes have some of the best animation and timed perfectly with the shaker motor.

Can't hit many shots, go for RPM top center, and start Red Line Mania, a very cool timed multiball mode. Speaking of multiball modes, there are plenty in this game.

Being able to add your own Hot Wheel cars is a nice touch as well. American Pinball include extra Velcro to mount them on the stands.

For the value, this is a great deal. Shaker motor, art blades, mirrored backglass, optional magic glass and real knocker, even the apron has art work on the inside, all for the price close to a Stern Pro. This game is more like a Stern LE, especially with it's amazing light show!

The sound system on this pin is also exceptional. There is an Amp in the backbox with adjustment knobs to really customize the sound. The powered sub can really rock the cabinet, highly recommend anti-rattle tape for the glass if you turn the sub up, but it's worth it.

All and all, this game asks for 1 more play and I love it. If you get to play it in the wild, give it a few tries to see all that you can see.

This is a game that anyone can play and have fun. Family friendly and yes, shoots like Metallica with different rules and arguably better music( with pinsiders help). Colorful playfield (especially with those neon plastic protectors) gorgeous colors on the cabinet and very fast paced game ( think iron man). The rules are simple and with the updated codes by Stern and by fellow pinsiders the added music and callouts makes this game. I rated mostly based on the OEM code, but the aftermarket code puts this game a step up from original.

Just received my NIB LE Wonka and this is such a smooth shooter. With the classic soundtrack from the movie playing in the background and funny sound effects, it doesn’t get you wound up and stressed when a ball drains, at least for me, I just want to keep playing and see what’s next to do. Love the sound effects when the ball is in the pops and having the classic lines of Gene Wilder spoken throughout game play is great. The game is so colorful and just beautiful but is a bit dark, mainly in the back area.

Only negative to this game, is for my wife who is a little short and has a hard time seeing the ball coming to the upper right flipper due to so much on this playfield. Beyond that, theme integration is excellent and again, just smooth playing. This isn’t frantic Stern JP gameplay, but more of a great casual game where you can watch what’s going on and enjoy the experience than just trying to stay alive.

OK, I've owned a perfect STTNG with all the best mods, (laser cannons, pinsound, etc) and this game is it, yet a little smaller (not a wide body) and A LOT faster!. This is the twin sister you want from Steve's past designs! For anyone that wants fast pinball like Iron Man, yet has deep rules and code, look no further. The light show alone on my LE is amazing. Lasers, color changing LEDs and flashers makes this game a stand out not only in attract mode, but in game play. Of course the mod community improves on this game is spades, but stern alone, with code 1.62 makes this game awesome. The side art of the cabinet is beautiful, body armor with LEDs, and the mirrored backglass again, is just perfect. It is actually a shame they don't go this far on the new sterns as they did with this LE as far as cosmetics. Guess adding better speakers is it now, but there are plenty of options on that department now for these "older" games, thankfully!. If you get to play, play it, you won't be disappointed, and if you get the chance to buy, buy it, yes TMNT and a slew of other pins are coming, but for cool star trek nostalgia and super fast keep you on your toes pinball, its tough to find a better pin.

This is the most feature packed pinball I have played, let alone owned. I thought walking dead had a lot of modes, this game takes the cake on modes, leader boards, as well as shots. This isn't an easy to play game like Stern's new Elvira pin, it requires a bit of skill and a thick book of rules. Again, feature heavy packed pin. Love the T-rex modes as well as the animations on the LCD which are awesome, sad to say, when playing it, you miss a lot. The raptor multi ball is epic and adding the car/truck into other modes is great. I'm not a great pinball player, so to add access to the wizard mode at the start of the game is perfect so I can do other modes within the game. (had to take the glass off my stern BK to get it to the end to battle the Black Knight just to see the animations). Highly recommend this pin for novice and especially experts who want a deep pinball. The music and animations are top notch and the cabinet art work is superb, sadly most people won't see it in a lineup of pins.

This a classic "remake" of the 1980's pinball PinBot. Same shots, same cool visor, etc, but taken up a notch with a great risk reward gambling theme. I always liked Pinbot, so when I got the chance to add the third in the series to my collection, it was a no brainer. Plus, the motherboards are easier and cheaper to come by on this title compared to Pinbot. The call outs and DMD animations are great, especially with a color DMD, fun jazz music plays in the background and make you feel like you are at an old casino. The Casino Run mode is another cool risk reward for big points and is very satisfying to make it through the whole mode. I'd recommend this title to anyone who liked the original and wants an DMD in their lineup.

Almost done restoring this pin, has been great working with pinball resource keeping old Gottlieb's alive! Game is a great baseball themed pin with base runners and a great 5" bell that chimes whenever you get a run. As expected, the other 3 bars chime just perfect as all Gottllieb pins do.The roto target adds to the 1972 fun and trying to get bases loaded for big points. I really like the back glass and how the paint job continues with the circles. Game play is fun and playing with friends to compete for the most runs is to me way more fun than going for a normal high score. If you ever have a chance to play it, I highly suggest you do, great throwback to simple times and fun in the open air arcades!

Traded my Monster Bash CE remake for this pin. Very happy I did! Both are great games, but this fills the void missing when I let my Stern Iron Man go. Super fast gameplay, love it, funny and various call outs by the Black Knight, awesome, and killer music to keep you pumped up from start of game to the end, which may be pretty quick. Finally hit the mode that transforms the game to the original Williams Black Knight and was amazed and so happy since that was one of my favorite pins to play as a young teenager. Sound effects are spot on from the 1980s! Lighting is another amazing feature on this pin, looks just fabulous, especially the fire in the back of the playfield. My friend had only played an LE and when he played this, he said they were like two separate pins. The pro is fast and a rush, the Premium/LE is slowed down by the upper playfield. I was surprised my wife likes this pin too, she usually likes the slower pins, here favorite feature is all the smack talk by the Black Knight. The new code is great and I can't wait to see what else they come with, maybe just a few more sarcastic call outs please? Currently going to stay put in my collection.

It is hard to find fault with this classic 1990s pinball. The best part of this game is that it can be challenging for the pro and fun for the novice players. I prefer to catch the ball and pick my shots and go for certain targets. My wife tries to just hit the ball as it comes to the flippers, but this game rewards all with classic toy animations like "Thing" as well as fast smooth ramps. My only complaint about this pin is that the GI lights are far and few making it a very dark game if played with the lights out. That is where Pinstadium lights come into play. But if lights are left on, the game is great. Call outs go well with the game and can be quite humorous, sound effects are great, and the flippers flipping on their own to the music at random times during ball turns is a fun surprise. I'm glad to finally own this pin after first playing and falling in love with it back in the early 1990s at a little miniature golf course near the beaches of NC. This pin will never leave my collection, much like my Williams Space Shuttle. As long as they keep making parts to keeping these old pins alive and well, my day will continue to be a happy one.

I bought this game not working and I am so glad I had the chance to make this game great again. Three spinners, a ball save gate, game options to give either extra games or extra balls, so much fun. So far this is one of the best and most fun EM pins I've played. I still prefer the DC powered flippers of Williams Grand Prix to really rip those spinners, but this game nails it with easy to understand rules, and "over the top" horn/buzzer. It is just simple fun. The back glass is very bright and colorful, I wish the play field had similar art work, but but it works. Adding color changing LEDs under the spinners and ABCD really makes the theme and to me enhances the "Magic" theme! A simple must mod if you are putting in LEDs. And finally, the chimes sound so sweet in this game as well, especially when the spinners are worth more points. If you see one, play it, if it is for sale, buy it, you won't be disappointed in this classic 1970's EM.

Owning a new version of an original classic has all the positives of having a classic pinball without the worries of owning an old pin. Construction is great and so pretty. Works perfectly out of the box. This game plays fantastic. The call outs vary and are funny. One of the best use of toys ever on a pinball with classic Universal Studios Monsters! This game is just as fun for novice and skilled players alike. Some new pins are all about the rules, shots, etc and are meant for serious pinball players and collectors. This pin is for anyone! It’s just fun. Another reason why it’s a permanent resident in my collection.

Here is a game that gets the same amount of plays as my Iron Man, which is saying a lot. I don't know about the old coding, but my pin came with 1.60. Great code! Plus after adding the sound callouts from the TV show, game is perfect. Yes it is a gruesome looking pin, but that is the point, it isn't supposed to be bright like guardians of the galaxy or iron maiden. Having so many leader boards in one game means you can compete for multiple top spots with your family and friends. If you are remotely a fan of this show, the one must mod you need to do is add the new sound code with the TV show call outs. Without this sound, the game falls a little short, but the music is still there. With the sound, you'll snicker at times with callouts from the cast members including Negan! Best of all, my wife is a huge fan of the show and this pin is her first go to pin now.

This is the perfect adrenaline game. Games are usually short, but always satisfying. The sounds are awesome, playing loud is a must and adding a shaker motor just adds to the excitement. The call outs are great and I always seem to keep hearing a different quote from the movie every time I play. Multiball is great in all modes, if it is lacking anything, it's a upper right flipper since I'm so used to one being there playing my STTNG or Spiderman VE. The game really needs a color DMD, something I'll be getting soon, but ramp shots are satisfying and that kickback from war machine is super fast, much like my old F-14 tomcat Yargof kickback. If you get one, put some nice LEDs in, upgraded speakers, maybe a shaker and play it loud!

Classic original solid state pinball fresh from the bell and chime era. I was reluctant on picking this up, but the inline drop targets and three spinners sealed the deal. This classic game does make you want to play just one more game. Having the shot to open the R/H outlane gate is great, a little similar to my Space Shuttle pin. Sound is very basic, but hey, they just switched from bells and chimes. I like the globetrotter song at the beginning of the game though, and the classic ending song. Nice addition to my current line up. Now I have a 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's pin.

Fun challenging games that doesn’t get old. There is enough modes and bad guys to fight to keep the game fresh and it is super multiball happy. Love the music that pays homeage to the 70s cartoon I used to watch back in the day. Great light show and the cabinet art is perfect for this game. Looks great In a collection of pins or by its own. Same layout as Star Trek and that is a good thing. It is just fun either in casual play or for serious players. Glad I picked this up and it isn’t leaving my collection.

Fast and flashy, no pun intended, game. With LEDs installed, you could go blind with the amount of flashers used. The mirrored back glass is one of my favorites, simply beautiful and worthy of framing, glad its real glass too and not a translate, just seems to pop more. Upper and main playfield keep the variation going and the music completely sets the tone for the game. When my wife plays it, she instantly starts bopping her head to the hard rock sound track. It is without a doubt a fast game, and if you have your shots dialed in and maybe a little stronger coil on the R/H side of the game, it can be soooo rewarding to just getting a three ball multiball. The center spinner is a great variation to the game as well that generates random awards such as lowering the drawbridge or getting more points. Just a fun, beautiful game all in all. I prefer, which others do not, this version of the black knight over the original. The original is what I played in the arcades way back when, but this one is just so much faster and more fun to me than the original, which is great in it's own right.

Just picked this game up after selling two of my other pins. This game has it all, not only are replacement parts available and mods that can be done, but it has just simple fun game play that anyone would like, but hard to master. You don't have to be a star trek fan to enjoy this game. Ramps, multiball, dot-matrix mini games, as well has hidden easter eggs in the coding of the game. Glad I sold my pins for this gem. One of Williams finest designs, period.

One of the worst modern games I've played next to Nascar. HUGE hole between flippers, and beyond hitting slimmer, not much else. Music and art are fantastic, but if I had to pay more than $.50 to play this bore, I'd never play it. Total disappointment. Give me great games like Medieval madness or Who dunnit.

The best pinball in my opinion next to Space Shuttle for the fun factor. Even if you have a bad game, it is fun to play. The voices and scripted lines make me laugh every time I play this game. Ramps, collapsing castle, and trolls! Awesome

Finally got to play this game at my friends house. The sounds is what makes this game. Hitting the pop bumpers has a very unique sound effect. Loaded with LEDs, this game can have a very sinister look that catches your eye and the fun gameplay keeps you there.

Great game that saved pinball!!!! For the casual player, it is perfect. Airlock save, center ball save, ringing bells AND sound effects. Classic. Plus manipulating USA with the flippers to increase bonus is another great idea. Great system 9 game, and one I'd take over most modern pins. Plus, with LEDs, this game looks and plays as modern as any DMD game! I could play this game over and over. Great fun and theme.

Recently picked this game up and love it more than my Black Rose or my 1976 Williams Grand Prix, which is my benchmark for fun. Love the crazy ramps, theme, and things to do in this game. Never saw it before in public but I'm glad I had the opportunity to pick this one when I did. I can easily see me playing this every day and not getting bored. Plus, after hitting the Bing Bang, you just want more! Great fun crazy pinball.

This is the most fun pinball I've played since Addam's Family. Great fun with spinners beats out my F-14 tomcat pin multi-ball all day long.
