I’ve owned it twice so that says something but each time sold it as it becomes more of the same shot after shot. I’d probably own it again but the value has been inflated.

I was apprehensive at first for the sound being too repetitive but it isn’t at all. Great call outs and all around family fun plus deep enough code for good players. I do think the lastability gets a bit lower after 1000 games.

I put this right there with Star Trek as a perfect league play. The code isn’t too complex that you are confused but it is super deep with lots of ways to stack and build. I’ve owned the premium and pro and this is one game for me where the simplicity in the pro wins out vs the extra gimmicks in the premium. Great balance between short and long balls. Fun for everyone.

Obviously the code is still coming along so ratings will need to be updated. I don’t think many parts are perfect yet but the machine is beautiful and the shots are addictive. At the end of the day that creates lastability for me.

Updated. The code is HUGE, so much depth. And the audio and video has come so far. I'm excited to see the final pieces tie together in the code with the movie inserts.

Updated. With over 500 games played and now with .99 code the depth is incredible. This is a masterpiece where you can build in so many different ways. So worth the wait! And we aren’t even to 1.0 yet!

Ultraman has unique shots and a super campy nostalgic theme delivered well. The updated code is excellent and still evolving. Artwork is excellent and sound is true to the show. This game has cultural depth that other pins simply don’t but at the end of the day the game didn’t draw me back enough to keep it in the collection for long.

Top 3 theme integration in all aspects. My favorite use of upper and lower playfield and the rug is an amazing concept. It is delicate delicate delicate - I don’t let kids play this machine or I’ll need to repair, that’s the downside, but I’m still not selling.

It’s a fun game and well built game but it was actually the Stern that made me realize that Stern is starting to feel repetitive and jamming too much onto the playfield. I think the kitana is very unique but the battle mission concept felt repetitive.

Amazing theme integration and super unique shots. After 100 games I still haven’t mastered the game objectives and not even close on shots yet. The game does need some dialing in but I’ll trade that for the unique aspects that simply don’t exist on any other game!

Update: Never fully dialed the shots and ultimately traded the game but would be interested in giving it another go in the lineup.

This game is the dark horse in the top 50 on pinside probably low in price and rank because of the horror and music theme but once you play it you realize all the tracks are classics and super well balanced with layers of great voice over and soundtrack. The horror theme is so well done with a unique comic vibe, it’s more family fun oriented than horror. Yes, the shots are challenging but not as crazy as described early with release; that’s what brings me back! Just like all Spooky games. It doesn’t flow like a Stern and that’s what I like about it.

The 1.0 code update made this a top25 game with the only exception being sound and we know the solve for that. I’m not sure I have been more addicted to a machine - verging on unhealthy. The layout is so well tuned it delivers excellent challenge if you want a shooter - hell, though the humidity in NY changes this game changes more than my others! I did eventually have to repair the infinity stone drop target repeated times.

Between my pro and my premium I’ve played thousands of games. I still can’t put together the perfect game. It has just enough (and not too much) to make it the perfect competition game. Ball length is perfect. It isn’t going to surprise you with something new but that’s not what it’s about. It’s a combo shot challenge over and over. It was my number 1 for a long time.
