Long story short; right before covid a friend saw a virtual pinball machine in Vegas and went crazy.  I helped him build his V-Pin and at first just fell in love with the art.  I'm of the age where I grew up in arcades (the 70's and 80's) but almost never played pinball.  To me they were just the weird money eating machines in the back of the room.  I tried a few here and there as a kid, but never could last more than a minute.  Anyway, six months into Covid I decided I needed to build a V-pin myself; good Covid hobby/project.  I was enjoying playing the V-pinball, but I was still mostly into the art side of it.  But the more I played the v-pin the more I wanted to play real pinball.  I wasn't ready to spend big money, but found a Time Warp for $800, the rest is history.  I've bought/sold/traded my way up to my current 3 pinball collection.  I can't really see owning any more until I have more room or start a barcade or something.  But damn I do love pinball!

Same thing happened to me. 3 pins now! Learning how they function is the cool part for me.
