(Couldn't hear the machine at that moment so I'll may update when I'll get to experience it in a quieter environment)
I'm glad that the magna save wasn't a feature exclusive to the L/e and the Premium, but the placement of the button is really an issue and a deal breaker for me, too far from the flipper buttons. You've got to prepare yourself in order to activate it and what I mean is that you really need to leave the comfort zone of the right flipper button. Maybe that was the goal, but in any case I'm not a fan of this placement as of now. I may need to put a few more quarter in to get used to it.
The other aspects that pulled me away from the machine was the speed of the ball which wasn't going fast enough for me and the simple fan layout. The rules and the challenging aspect were the things that kept me playing for the most part.
Overall, it's a fun, challenging and really nice looking machine that I may come back to from time to time.
Theme is well used, one of my favorite design from Stern, but not my favorite from Steve.
Although, the machine feels empty, maybe the addition of the upper playfield would fix that but even there I'm not a fan of how it looks on the premium and L/E.
My expectations were maybe set too high for a stern considering that modern machines aren't my thing.
