The LE is a awesome looking pin. They really knocked it out of the park on the armor, backglass and art.

I have never enjoyed a pin this much. I can’t stop playing it. The theme is great, they integrated the show very well, the flow and shots are super fun and the upper playfield is a really really good idea. They use the upper playfield during missions and it has its own. I was surprised how much it was involved in the play. You also don’t get much time up there because it moves up and down. It’s probably my favorite upper playfield on any pin. I don’t like where there is a ton of time and play on upper playfields. It just becomes too much.

I’m so happy they made a super fun Star Wars pin. The family loves it as well.

So glad I got to buy this to play. Very fun non pitch and bat baseball pin. Probably my favorite. Todd tuckey has a video on game play but it has super fun rules, great logic and shots. I love the fly away targets and the spinner shot to advance runners. This might be one of my favorite games from the early 80s. If you get a chance to play or buy one don’t pass it up. Watch the gameplay video before and it will all make sense when you play it. Excellent pin

If you take the NiB cost out of it and understand why the designed it the way they did you will hopefully not go in with a negative mind set on this pin. A lot of people disliked it before they even played it. I own this pin now. Purchased it in the mid 6s and it’s an amazing pin. Plays super fast and fun. The flow it awesome, the rules are easy to understand but fun. Cousin Brucey isn’t repetitive and adds a lot to the call outs. Now you can also get different albums from a pinsider with different content which is a bonus for variety. Even with out that this pin is awesome. Family and neighbors really enjoy it

I have to say I am very impressed with American pinball and Hot Wheels.

Ap definitely goes above and beyond with the packaging of their pins and all the fun goodies

Hot weeks itself is really amazing. It has some great shots and flow to the game. The light show is probably the best I’ve seen and the shaker motor integration is awesome. The rules are easy to understand and explain but achieving them is challenge. It really is a deep pin and coded really well. I love the art, the quality of the build, the 3D back and real painted glass. You can tell they didn’t cheap out on the cab and playfield like my stern pins. I’m glad I pulled the trigger as me and my family love it. It’s probably one of our tops right now and I think we have a pretty good lineup atleast for newer pins. If your uncertain about buying one don’t be. I wish I would of bought this right when it came out as it’s that good.

Great playing pin. Has some really cool toys with the cars and engine block. It shoots awesome and has a great layout for the flow. I am surprised how low this ranks. Maybe mine was setup really well but I enjoyed shooting this pin. I dont know how you cant love hit the ramps.

Very happy to have this as my first NiB LE. This pin is fast and fun. It can be challenging but once you start getting the shots down you can really flow the ball. The art is amazing and the mirrored backglass looks awesome. I love the powder coat color they chose. This has moved to be one of our favorites. The new 1.10 code adds the shredder wizard mode from the start which is a blast to play and the kids really enjoy co-op. Very happy they put out a title with fun code early on.

I am not sure if folks who rated this just played it once and thought it sucked but its surprisingly good for its age. Once you get the hang of the magic saves you play a very long ball (I suck at pinball too). You do have to get the flippers dialed in correctly but its a really fun game to play. I dont know if it will be a keeper, as for right now we are really enjoying it. It also is very innovative for its time with the magic saves, teleport and interactive topper. I dont think too many pins in 1987 would of been better than this one.

One of the oldest pins in our collection. We will never sell it. It is probably one of the greatest pins I have ever played. Incredibly deep, awesome shots and a thrill to play. This is a must add to any collection.

one of the favorite pins in our lineup. Very straight forward on how to play. Similar to Aerosmith but you collect characters. We put the Cleland sound mod on and it makes a great pin even greater. The groot toy and multiball is awesome. The hidden magnet is a cool feature. No real negatives about the pin. With alot of the sterns, I have found the bad reviews are typically with the older code. I am glad we decided not to listen to those and take a chance on 5 newer sterns. Previously, our lineup was all Williams/Ballys dmd pin and now its a mix of those with newer sterns. The kids love them and we do too.

The art on this pin is amazing. It is one of the things we really love. The play is very similar to other borg pins. You have to play through the song and move on to the next one. Has a very cool muli-ball lock with the toy chest and a virtual lock in the elevator. We really enjoyed this pin for the last 4 months we have owned it. I would recommend picking this up if you get a change. It will surprise you especially if you like borg pins.

We have owned X-men for around a year. It is a super fun pin. You fight villains, collect the heroes. Has a lot of borg feel and play. If youre able to find one in the wild I would recommend playing it. I think this pin will surprise a lot of people if you give it a couple chances. Its very fast and fun.

Ive played about 50 games on this and love it. The theme, the flow, the music is awesome. This is a very deep pin. I have the rule set and it’s by far the deepest of the modern lcd stern. I have 10 pins and would reduce our collection if I could find 5 pins similar to this

Update - 150 plays and its still a favorite. If you played the old code, give the new code a chance. I was shocked that people gave this bad reviews but I heard most were from the old code. This pin is still amazing.

overall fun pat lawlor game. Not a keeper for us but its fun to play. Love some of the shots and the fault line break. The back lighting is horrible though even with LEDS. I love the mirrored backglass and the art is fun and cool. Very Cali and looks great. I really enjoy the shaker and what Pat did on this one for being 1989.

I own the Pro VE. Its a fun shooter that can be really challenging. We have had it for a couple months and the whole family enjoys it. Ours has some good mods but I dont think it changes it from the stock so my review should be close for a stock. These have a lot of songs, good call outs, and great shots. The center 3 targets though can really make your ball fly around but its a good pin

I have owned this for a little bit but it is probably the funnest pin we have played. It has great rules, rewarding shots, awesome multiball and funny call outs. Its been a while since we had a pin that we got home and played it for 3 hours. My wife played it for 4 which is really rare. These are the type of pins i look for my family. We have had a decent amount of pins and some you know they will not like after a couple weeks/months. This will go with LOTR and The shadow as a keeper pin.

Owned this game for a while now so I have spent some time on it. Theme is what i liked about it but in the arcade I was disappointed by the play. Luckily, I got this for a trade and really have enjoyed it. It has some great shots, can be challenging but is a lot of fun if adjusted properly. My kids really enjoy it as well. I’d recommend it

Owned it for awhile. Not great for kids. It was pretty fun but didn’t love it. I sold it after 2 months. It was extremely nice but really wasn’t that great of a pin

Played the linked pins and really enjoyed it so I bought a single one. At first I thought it may not compare to the linked ones. We have owned for a bit and played many games. It’s actually a very fun pin. Both me and the wife enjoy it. Has some very fun feature like passing it around the key to not get blocked, the hot dog round and shoot in the back glass. The announcer sounds the same as nba jam and which makes it even better. Very 90s look and feel from the announcer to the music and sound effects. I don’t see this as a great single pin but multiple pin collection and playing with friends it’s a blast. You comeback for more wanting to beat the different teams score.

Pleasantly surprised by this pin

Hated this pin when i played it but got a chance to own it reasonable and spent time on it. The verdict, very fun, has a lot of innovative qualities for the time but not huge in depth. We have a pretty decent size line up and I catch myself playing it more and more. I wish they had a chance to make more
Than two. Playfield swap would of been simple and you get a whole new game.

Played this a lot and own it now. Very fun and challenging pin. Although I’m not a fan of the band the music still is good. The theme is very cool. Playfield laid out great. Shots are challenging. Multiballs are a blast.

Excellent pin, very glad I got an opportunity to buy is reasonable.

Owned it for a while now. Definitely did a good job with the theme, the voices and it’s guns to play. Some easy shots but our favorite Gottlieb by far

Got the pin in a trade. Was hesitant at first because of all the bad ratings. Now that I’ve got it I think it’s a lot of fun. Very happy to have it for the family. I have owned a lot of system 11s and this is one of the better ones in my opinion.

Great usage of the pin bot theme and updating to something new. Has the casino theme which is fun when you try to double your money.

The music isn’t great but it works.

I really enjoy the pin and so does the family. One that would be hard to get rid of out of our collection

We have had this almost a year and still enjoy it. Has a lot going on and is very fun. The original wrestlers voices and theme music is very cool and it was one of the best eras in wrestling. I’m not a huge wrestling fan but did watch it growing up and this captures everything very well. Has a second playfield, pretty deep play and just play fun to play.

We are huge Simpsons fans ever since the show first aired. I remembered playing this when I was little and it being hard. I thought maybe it was because I was 9. I assume I’m a little better now than I was then. Very excited when I found one to buy reasonable. Planned on it being a good one for the family. The theme is great, they did a great job for it being early in the show. Unfortunately, the pin is brutally unforgiving. We have 11 pins and would make the rounds to play them all but every time we played this one it was short and drained. Friends and family would play it one maybe two times and you could see the disappointment of the uncontrollable drains. Maybe i got a bad one but it was a great day when it left the house

Overall pretty good for its time, no multi ball but probably the best non multi ball out there. Plastic ramps block quite a bit but they are clear. We enjoy wire ramps better but still a good pin

Had the pin for about 5 months. Played it a couple days a week. It was fun but not our favorite. Had some cheap drains and not a ton of variation but setup well. Great music and a good classic. Probably one of the better ones in the day but with everything out there now doesn’t hold up super well in my opinion

Owned This game for almost year. The speech isn’t great or the back glass. I bought an alternate translite. Gameplay is great, very fun and family friendly. Probably one of the top ones we have owned. Great overall experience

I bought a very modded pin so haven’t spent much time on a stock pin. It is an awesome experience. Probably one of the coolest pin experiences ever. The pin is just excellent , fun and fast. A ton to do and great for the family

Beautiful art, fun game, easy to understand rules and fast. Great game, the art alone is worth having it. This game is one of the familty favorites. Sounds is pretty bad but for the time on par.

I love the simpsons and was actually looking to get this for the home until I played it in the arcade. It was fun but not the greatest experience. Maybe if i played it longer it would grow on me but the wife and I did 5 turns and just couldnt get into it. I was hoping she played it and thought, we need one asap. That did not happen!

UPDATE - Finally bought one and its much better in a Home use setting. I got a lot of time on it. This is a great pin!

My first pin I bought and we love it! It is still one of, if not, the most fun game in our collection. The kids like it but us parents love it. Gets your heart racing, fun rules and is a blast to play. This is what got me and the family into loving pins

I am only 2 months into collecting pins and this was my second. The family did not like it. Not enough things to do, sort of slow and boring. Maybe for 1980 it was great but not so much now. Art work was cool and getting it to black was too. Just not for our family

Had for only a couple weeks. It wasn't a lot of fun and pretty hard to be honest. The flippers up top are too small and it doesn't have great over game play. It seem pretty choppy, we couldn't get into the flow. It also didn't help Brutus would spit the ball straight down the middle randomly. I wouldn't recommend, even for a famuly

I got the game in a trade and the family loves it. Has some pretty cool shots, fun play and the kids love the shaker. We have 4 pins and people seem to gravitate towards this one for whatever reason. It's not slow like most gottliebs, it actually plays pretty fast. I'd recommend especially for kids
