Over 50 years and still at it.

The first pinball I remember playing was a 5 cent pin in Petersburg, WV in a gas station on the corner.  It was in the late 1960s and you manually loaded the ball with a push rod.  I've been at it on and off ever since then, but only recently bought a Close Encounters of the Third Kind (SS).  I'm learning the basics of maintenance and unkeep and am enjoying an early SS machine.
