I was going to write, "What @jar155 said". https://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders/jar155

Played it here on location in Portland, Oregon for part of an afternoon.

It's definitely smooth and fast, in a similar way to Star Trek, but doesn't give me much time to understand what's going on and what I should be doing. Maxi and mini modes seem to come and go without narrative flow. Where am I in the original trilogy? Which movie is this now?

It looks and sounds good on walkup and startup. I wish the rules followed the story of the movies. Sound and lighting could be more dramatic and different to separate out the timed goals. I would have liked to be able to play the villains as well (i.e. Vader, Emperor, Tarkin) or at least vehicle modes (speeders and fighters, for example).

Stern still hasn't quite figured out the LCD integration yet. They could've consulted with the Jersey Jack team. All of their pins do a fine job of combining video clips, animations, and info with game play. The whole package doesn't feel like Star Wars. I have to say the Data East machine, while simple, felt more immersive in the theme.

Hard to find and worth the search. The humor isn't for everyone but made us laugh.

Golf cart hole-in-one is a great way to start the game. The mystery award spinning ball tray is a nice randomizer. The playfield arrangement makes for fast action.

The best of all billiard-themed games we've played. Good example of retro design and nostalgic play. Great kinetics, especially center post ball lock.

Fast game play keeps it exciting. Goals are easily understood thanks to callouts. The modes are rewarding. "Captain's Chair" and "Kobiyashi Maru" are nice bonuses.

"You uh up?" makes us laugh. It's a fairly simple ramp game, but still worth playing. The layout would probably work without the theme.

One need not be a Mustang enthusiast or muscle car fan to enjoy this machine. The various multiballs make for fun play, especially the relative ease of Gearshift MB, a nice way to get the game going.

Those not very familiar with the TV series can still enjoy the game.

Embarrassingly fun. Didn't think we'd like it but enjoyed it very much and recommend that others play.

Playfield design is strong but suffers due to State Fair balloon drain. Also, "There's No Place Like Home", is a lot to ask compared to "Toto Escapes".

We play it out on location and often encounter machines needing repair. We're unsure of the reasons.
