So I grew up playing pinball when SS's were in their heyday. When I was really young we played you guessed it a ton of Firepower as that was the main table at a campground we frequented. EM's were all gone at that time, but people were putting them in the garages and basements in droves. I also caught the wave of the 90's with classics like Addams Family, Dr. Who and Twilight Zone
We got a Williams Gay 90's EM when I was about 8 and it was my game. Nobody was ever able to beat me on a consistent basis. From that point on EM's were my thing, even though I was never able to find one in the wild.
Started back in earnest into the hobby in the 2000's and taught myself the art of EM repair, with a lot of help from the Internet. I have played in a local league and am an average player but really enjoy the competition. Also enjoy helping others fix EM's and the occasional SS. I still have a lot to learn in fixing pinballs, but have about as much fun playing as fixing.
