Great game. . . dsepite an older title, still holds up and has very rewarding shots!

Really enjoyable game. Frustrating how some shots can come easily and other times they are darn near impossible.

I've been playing this for a few weeks and remain quite impressed. Stern really has stepped up their game with this current release. The game is smooth, smooth, smooth. Plenty of nice shots to hit. I appreciate the ability to select a turtle with different attributes, but end up always selecting Donatello since you're one shot away from a multiball. . . talk about a game changer. I love the Pizza multiball startup and the fact that you can tailor the multiball via the pizza toppings. Just a fantastic release. The only fault (from me) is that I'm not a huge TMNT fan. However, the game is so outstanding, I think that it may be joining my collection sooner than later. A really great table!!!

Just finished my first session with Hot Wheels. I'm not really blown away. The offset screen in the display doesn't make any sense. No creative toys on this playfield. . . layout reminds me of Beatles (aka Seawitch) meets Nascar. I found the spinning car toy to be really distracting and didn't have any correlation with the game. The red timed multiball was fun, but I just can't see adding this machine to my collection. I'm pleased that American Pinball keeps hanging in there, but hope that they've got something better up their sleeve for their next table. Probably would make decent returns on route, but not a keeper.

Update: seeing this pinball sit unplayed at Wizards World while others line up for TMNT makes me think that it would not be a wise choice to put on route, either. Understandably, if you love it and own it, more power to you. But for me, hard pass.

Update update: one last thing. . . just to be clear; I think that American Pinball is an excellent company. I stopped by their Streamwood office a few years ago, uninvited and unannounced. Dhaval came out, gave me a tour, let me play an Oktoberfest development machine. . . they were wonderful and very, very generous with their time and access. I sincerely hope that they have great things in their future. Unfortunately, for this pinball fan, this game isn't my cup of tea. I do wholeheartedly hope that the company hangs in there and continues to grow, expand and fuel the pinball community.

The music is amazing, the game looks great and the dinosaur feature is a "must-own" for the money. Having said that, the game (for me) lacks good flow. It feels like there are an excessive number of "dead end" shots. . . the dinosaur pen, the jeep, the interesting up-ramp on the right. When playing, it seems like I keep hitting these corners that stop/kill the action and simply spit the ball back. For me, this makes the game not-so-fun and not as fulfilling as it should be. Granted, it is far far far superior to the Stern abomination called Stranger Things, but that's sort of a different story.

Really a fantastic game. For me, definite GOAT status. It is deep without being enigmatic. Plenty of shots to master, many different areas of the game to explore. Lots of unique toys and two upper playfields that enhance gameplay without dramatically slowing things down. I really do not envision ever selling this game. Every time I discover something new, it adds to the experience and fun. Certainly my favorite JJP release and perhaps my all-time fav!

As a fan of JJP and owner of multiple JJP tables, I expected this to be the newest addition to my collection. After multiple plays at multiple locations, I think that I've changed my position to "wait and see." The initial chipping/pooling was an issue that caused me to "cool my jets" at initial purchase opportunities. The feel--to me--feels much like Dialed In with a shorter playfield and less toys. The ramps are relatively easy to learn and hit, dropping the ball below the playfield is a fun shot, but overall, the game just feels like I'm spending most of my time in the 6-12 inches in front of the flippers. I know there are orbit shots and deeper targets to hit, but for some reason, the game feels like a pair of pants that are just too short for my comfort. Definitely plays and feels like a Pat Lawlor, just maybe not the best fit for me.

Like most JJP games, it is deep and challenging. In the arcade environment, it'll take you more than a few dollars to get familiar with the game play, game flow and shot selection. The ramps, though steep, are satisfying to hit. The call-outs are good, but should be better with more license integration. As a foil, the video clip utilization is not nearly as impressive as the Hobbit. However, the game-play and table layout (IMHO) is superior (to the JJP Hobbit). A great game, albeit a bit over-valued given the short initial production run and regular issues with clear-coat chipping and wearing. If a re-run ever occurs (with clear coat correction), one should consider this a strong buy.

Many people love/love/love this game. I would say that I like the game. . . probably don't love the game. Definitely a classic theme with good shots, decent flow and some fun things to do. After initial honeymoon period, I will play this game once every few months, but can't say that it is a personal favorite time and time again. Nevertheless, worth a few plays to see how it will work for you!

Really an excellent pinball game. Although I do not own one, it frequently eats my quarters @ Wizards World. The game plays smooth and fast. Although a few tricky shots will flush SDTM, the more you work at this game, the better it gets. Great callouts, fun toys, a really great table!

Each time I head out, I end up pumping more quarters into this game. The shot variety, number of different multi-ball modes and play are tremendous. I can have tremendous games with long play followed by humbling, short misadventures. Despite not being a huge fan of Elvira or Sci-Fi, I find this pinball to be extremely fun and rewarding. Although a little expensive, I think that I may just have to break down and buy one for myself!

I wanted to like this game (kinda in the same fashion that I wanted to like the show). Unfortunately, there just isn't much going on here. There are a few left/right ramp shots, but the majority of time it felt like I kept plugging the drop-targets or creature in the center of the play-field. The trajectory of the center ramp (when deployed) creates many airballs that smack the bottom of the glass. Despite working though the levels and getting some extra-ball and multi-ball action, the game felt repetitive and boring. Probably my least favorite Stern release of the modern-era. I don't see much opportunity to improve this pinball. Sadly, a poor follow-up to Elvira (IMHO one of the best recent releases from Stern).
