Owned it now for a couple months, so time to rate.

Great looking machine, beautiful translite. Sure, it's just a Sys11 so the rules aren't very deep. But there's something about the simplicity that grabs me. Enough going on to make it interesting, easy enough to not get frustrated, but not so easy that you can dominate the machine after a short period of play. It sits next to more "complicated" machines, but probably gets played the most since it's so easy to just walk up and knock off a game. Great game, 2 thumbs up.

A strange bird. Interesting to look at, but the game play is so random it's hard to actually feel as if you are playing the machine. It's more as if the machine is playing you. Balls falling off elevated ramps, upper playfield, etc. etc. Maybe I just stink, but it's not a game that I think you could ever really get good at, due to the random nature of the play.

It's a decent art package, and the theme could appeal to a certain segment, but probably the best place for this machine is in the basement of somebody who just wants to have a pinball machine for the occasional party. Wouldn't recommend to anybody who considers themselves a "player". Good thing is, as of this writing (10/2012) you can get them for less than $750, which does make it semi-attractive as a starter machine. However, remember, there is a reason it is so cheap.....

Awesome machine, great layout and the ramp divertors keep you on your toes. OK, I agree - the theme really sucks. But get an alt translight and you'll never see baldwin again.

Awesome Eddy design, the steep metal ramps are a blast, great use of magnet in the Sanctum.

Probably not for the casual player, as it is considered a "hard" machine to play. A different theme and it would be in the Top 10. Great game.

Just a damn fun game. Sometimes "less is more", and this machine proves why. Great shots, great sounds, just overall great fun. Always ready to play one more game.

Owned it for a couple weeks. It's a nice machine, I do see the attraction. But I guess ultimately I'm not much of an IJ fan, so the theme kind of killed it for me.

One of THE best early SS games. Fantastic art package, Stern wishes they could do this today.

Gameplay? Stand there a look at the table and think "this will be easy". Then watch it kick your butt repeatedly. And try to resist the urge for one more game. It's addictive.

Sounds are so-so, but typical for the era.

An absolutely brilliant game. Expensive, but if you are into this era well worth it.
