“The restoration of this Star Trek, The Next Generation pinball took a lot of time, more money than I am comfortable to admit, and an embarrassing amount of OCD. Having the machine 10 years ago, I had some ideas of what to expect in the makeover process, however I've never restored a pinball to this extent. TECHNICAL REPAIRS / MECHANICAL CHANGES * Clean inside of cabinet and removal of 27 years of dirt. * Reflowed ALL solder connections on all “original” boards and added Williams suggested jumper wires. * Assessed bad condition of original boards and decided REPLACEMENT for machine stability was required.
