Stern chose my single least favorite piece of Zeppelin art (naked icarus) to showcase on the playfield. I do like the right ramp, and actually all the ramps flow very well. Wide open playfield, could have been used for more shots.

Classic Bally! Getting the spinners lit and then ripping them never gets old. Drop targets are a little risky but the rewards are progressive and they can be swept if hit just right. Great art on the backglass and the animation is simple but awesome.

If this game had a better translite it would be on a lot more collectors radar. I rarely mod my machines, but adding a few Palm trees to this one is a must. Hitting the ramp feels good and scoring really takes off once you have the pop bumpers lit. My game never started in multiball. You had to earn it. There's a setting for that. The sounds are good, but I wish the different songs were used as you progressed r at her than just random.

Great playfield layout and I love the ramp and the return habitrail. I just wish the game was deeper, or perhaps even mode-based. This game has the single best video mode in pinball with the shooting range. The other video modes are average.

There weren't many basketball themed pinball machines, so if you need one in your collection this is the one you want. I have owned it for years and it just never gets old. I do have a larger collection and I think the game is good for that. The upper playfield requires finesse to hit the vuk and timing to hit the drop targets. The moving basket is an awesome mech that I think solidifies this as the best basketball themed machine. There are interesting modes with the drop targets and Shaq has the ability to drop them to set up certain shots. It's always challenging to collect the hidden features in this game. Multiball is easy to get, and there are multiple wizard modes, one of them being a single ball wizard mode, which I like. Is the scoring unbalanced? Yes. But I'll bet as soon as someone decides to start doing some code re-writes to these Gottlieb system 3s, like others have with the old Williams and Data East games, a lot of people are going to start looking at these Gottliebs aain.

This pin has some cool features like the mini ski-ball playfield and the underground ball lock. Also has the variable angle shooter lane skill shot, similar to Millionaire. But I always felt like the main shot was right into a pop bumper on this one so I just wasn't a fan of the layout.

I'm a sucker for any game with inline drop targets, which this only has 2 but I still like it. The artwork hasn't stood the test of time, but the backglass does have a cool effect with the flashing gems. There's two ways to lock balls to build the jackpot, and the jackpots are progressive, with different gems being earned each time. A few funny call-outs, and some of Pinbots sound-bytes show up every now and then.

As others have said, it's loud. I endured the ruckus in my collection for about a year. It's an interesting concept, and playing it fulfills some odd primordial need. Gets old as a stand-alone game, but this concept would be awesome if someone ever decided to implement this in a mini-playfield, with Stewie mini-playfield-sized balls.
