A last summer I bought my first pin, a slightly worn down Bally Special Force - and set to fixing and playing right away. The type of work is so similar to the kind of electronics and mechanics I worked on in the army I felt right at home. Then came a very good deal on a '94 World Cup Soccer. Lets just say I have no willpower. So there I am now with 2 pins in my office, and my wife was not particularly amused, so I sold the Special Force to my good friend (Nokoro on Pinside) - knowing I'd be able to go over his house and still play it. Honestly, I don't know why so many people are down on it. It is a damn fun, and fairly challenging game that I truly like. Would never have sold it if I could have kept it.
I've since sold away the World Cup Soccer. I really was hesitance to let it go, it is such a damn good game. But I did it, and got myself a shiny, home use only X-Men Pro. And I don't regret it one bit. I really dig X-Men. Its so damn challenging, has great color and sound, more modes than you can shake a stick at, and Deadpool talking smack. What's not to like?
