Back into it!

Born in '85, I wasn't given much opportunity to grow up with pinball. Fortunately, a new arcade opened up in '97 when I was twelve, giving me a good few years to catch up on what I missed. Eventually the place shut down, along with my ability to play pinball. Since then, I've always threw down a few coins wherever I've seen a pinball machine to relive those good 'ol memories of one's youth.

Up until then I only played pinball for the fun factor of it. It wasn't until I stayed at a holiday resort in 2012 that I really got what pinball was about. I started playing for precision and the high scores. After spending half my time on that holiday on Red & Teds Roadshow, I was again hooked.

Since then I've been driving around all the known pinball locale's as well as trying to find new ones. The aim, to figure out which pinball machine will be my first.

Welcome to the Pinside good Doctor!
Taking time to play everything at an expo is the best way to see what pin resonates with you the most. After you play "the one", it becomes a matter of distance, patience and $$$... Good luck with the hunt! ; )

Welcome Leo! I'm partial to the early 80's Gottliebs and you owe it to yourself to check them out before you purchase.
