When I was younger, my father was a bartender at Gala West (Naperville Illinois,) so I spent a lot of time in one of the first really done up theme arcades. On Thursday nights I would get to roam the halls, see the cool sculpted planets and galaxies on the walls, and play games for free as long as they didn't give out tickets. I loved the Black Hole machine.
Fast forward a lot of years, and I got my license. I loved to go to Gala North, where they had a GNR prototype machine and an APB. I liked that machine a lot. When I got my first job, I saved up and bought a GNR machine from LM in Roselle as my first machine. At my job, I met Rich Huff, who was my introduction to the pinball community and he fixed my GNR a few times. Then, I met Phil Hubert.
It's been with me for 18 years. Then, in 2014, I added a second machine, an Avengers LE. Them, in 2016, I picked up a Metallica.
I am interested in the machines, so I look around and ask a lot of questions. I am afraid of electrical work on them.
I am 50/50 on the emulators.
