The Hobbit Jersey Jack, 2016

If you like fast and furious, The Hobbit isn’t for you. If you enjoy working towards a goal that may take 45 minutes to an hour, I’m not sure there’s a better pin out there. This isn’t a multiplayer pin because of this. 3.1 code is very nice. Killing Smaug, and each of the wizard modes are nearing the sensory overload status. 3 to 5 balls with the beasts popping up all while needing to make various shots... I’m glad I? gave This one a chance!

Dialed In Jersey Jack, 2017

This one had to grow on me. After two weeks, it totally opened up. Working for Armageddon and Showdown is fun, but the game doesn’t lose its fun factor even after you have finished it.

Star Wars (Pro) Stern, 2017

I? wasnt sure when I? brought this one home, but the more I? play it, the more I? like. Hands down the best sound when you tilt...the Emperor makes me want to walk away at times. Not a fan of the left out lane, but that makes you work harder... I? guess. I? still haven’t had a huge game, but it has the one more play factor for me.

Viking Bally, 1980

One of my favorite Bally machines. The timer on the spinner is great, 10X on the drops if made in sequence, the 50K timed shot always seems to come up when the ball is on the left flipper, in line drops for bonus multiplier, great art package...this one is here to stay.

Genesis Gottlieb, 1986

I wish that I hadn't overlooked this title for years. It gets tons of plays. Set it up to be brutal, and work, work, work. Hoping to re-theme the BG and cabinet, because like some, the cheese is too much for me.

Medieval Madness (Remake - LE) Chicago Gaming Co., 2015

I let Monster Bash go to bring this one in, so I was hoping that it would fill the void well. I feel that it is harder than MB. I like the shots, the art, and the sounds. It is very fun to play. With the trolls, it may edge out Attack From Mars.

Monster Bash Williams, 1998

I had to let AFM go to get my hands on MB, and the verdict is still out. The more I play it, the more I like it. The layout and shot selection is fantastic. Toys galore with great sounds and call outs. I added a color DMD which helps the animations. My only complaint is the feed from the pops. It may just be my table, but I can't seem to get a consistent feed down beside the Dracula.

Attack from Mars Bally, 1995

Some say that it is repetitive and easy. There are tons of shots on this table. You can play it several different ways. If you just pound the UFO, it can become boring after a bit, but there is much more to this table than just saving the cities. Setting the tilt tight can take care of the "easy" complaints. I'm enjoying it so far.

Edit - This thing gets better every time that I play it. It has stayed near the top of Pinside's Top 100 for a reason; that reason is that no matter how you cut it, every plunge is fun.

Volcano Gottlieb, 1981

This is by far the fastest (older) wide body that I've played. The odd pop bumper layout combined with strong slings and crazy strong kicks makes for ball blurring lower PF at times. The top of the PF seems ho-hum unless you are accurate with your shots from the lower flippers. Getting the multiball is nice, but with the lower PF on this beast, it doesn't last long. I didn't think that this one would last long, but everyone that plays it seems to think that its a keeper.

Eight Ball Bally, 1977

This is a pinball machine that leaves a "love it" or "hate it" taste in your mouth after every game. The black hole of an out lane on the left takes the fun out of it for most, but when you learn to control the ball, it doesn't factor into play as much. I enjoy turning it on from time to time, but it is not my favorite table in my collection.

Embryon Bally, 1981

I like this wide body more each time I play it. It's not a snore fest if it is set up properly, and there is always something to shoot at. I don't see this one leaving anytime soon.

Hotdoggin' Bally, 1980

This wide body plays like a wide body, and its not hard to put up high scores with the bonus multipliers being easy shots. But I have to say that it is fun to play. Set up the collect bonus kickback, rack up the bonus, and then keep the ball high and right until it falls in. It's not Embryon or Paragon, but I'd say that it's better that Space Invaders. I can't comment on Future Spa.

Star Wars Data East, 1992

I have been able to put several games on this table lately. This machine has the old ruleset, and it is a bit of a "one shot wonder" with the ramp. There are several challenging shots, but I think that the scoring is a bit out of whack. Maybe the new code will solve my dislikes.

I'm glad to say that this pin is in the lineup. It is one of those machines that you can have a great game and a horrible game back to back. This keeps some people from playing it, but it brings me back for more.

This is a strange machine that you don't see everyday. I was able to 6 or 8 games on one at the SFGE, and I really liked it. I'm sad that I passed up an opportunity to own one.

Andromeda Game Plan, 1985

I played this at SFGE, and I really liked it. I was only able to put 5 or 6 plays on it, but it was unique and fun to play. The lower pop bumper make things very interesting.

F-14 Tomcat Williams, 1987

F-14 is a great all around pinball machine. Fast, flowing, and a light show that is out of this world. If you like to jam the ball back up the middle, this isn't a pin for you.

This is a love it or hate it pin. My answer to this depends on how my last game went. Lighting the locks can be brutal. Overall, it is a fun pin.

This is a pretty cool game, but my family and friends like it much better than I do. It is a very nice looking game, but the cannon area makes play unpredictable.
