Realizing a childhood dream

A long time ago when I was still a kid, I remember noticing a group of guys standing around a big black machine with bright lights, strange music and sound effects and a big red flashing light at the top. It didn't really know what to think of it at the time but for some reason I was drawn to it. I went to see what the guys were doing and when I saw the shiny silver ball that one of the guys was shooting around the machine I immediately knew this was something amazing and playing it myself for the first time completely got me hooked on pinball...

From that moment on whenever a pinball machine was near I just had to play it. At some point in my childhood I said to myself: when I grow up I am going to own a pinball machine! The thought of being able to play pinball without having to worry about running out of quarters seemed almost too good to be true at the time.

The years passed and as pinball machines appeared in public less and less, I almost forgot about that great childhood dream. Until a little over a year ago when suddenly it hit me again. I quickly realized I now had the chance to turn the dream into reality and so I did. After doing some research I decided to buy a Williams Indiana Jones pinball machine and man what a thrill it was to play it for the first time! The pinball virus hit me again just like it did over 20 years ago.

A year later I have an attic with 4 machines and not enough room for one more... Seems like I need a bigger house.

A bigger house? Sounds like a totally logical decision to me; you might as well build one from scratch to maximize all of that pin-goodness! Welcome aboard Dezaanster!
