Great game but the code is a bit shallow. Sold mine after a couple of months.

The build quality is absolutely fantastic. You can see that Pinball Brothers re-thought Heighway’s Original design and re-engineered this thing to the n’th degree. The shots are now smooth where the original was a clunkfest. Underneath the playfield everything is neatly laid out and carefully connected. The sound is amazing and the atmosphere when playing can give me chills. Bravo Pinball Brothers on a stellar first machine! However the code is somewhat shallow and the replay value goes away after you’ve played it a bunch of times. I sold it.

One of Stern’s finest. Great gameplay for both the casual and the experienced player. Great toys and lots of different paths to choose on how to play each time you push the start button. Go Keith Elwyn!

Wow. What a game. When I first played it I was overwhelmed by the myriad choices. Once I bought my LE and spent some time learning the rules, I was blown away. IMO the most amazing pin ever made. So many things to do and so many mini wizard modes. You can stack anything with anything and choose so many different characters to play - each with benefits and penalties.
And the toys! Where did they get those marvelous toys? The rocking Black Pearl ship with a set of flippers and a cannon to fire your (cannon)ball at the other ship across the playfield. The whirlpool shot, the collectible gold, the compass that shows the best shot, the magnetic random mode bounce house, the star map that gives hidden clues - this game has it all! I installed a playfield protector which gave me an opportunity to take everything off of the playfield and see how well this game is made. JJP quality is the best! If you can find one for sale, don’t hesitate. It easily warrants the high price that it demands.

Game of Thrones LE is a very well-designed game by Steve Ritchie. It has smooth flowing shots, incredible lighting effects and one of the best upper playfields I’ve had the pleasure of playing. The upper playfield is large and has two full size flippers that allow you to handle and control the ball to shoot the three standup targets as well as the two back exit shots and a left loop. This upper playfield design is the type of upper playfield that should have been incorporated into Steve’s more recent release “Black Knight: Sword Of Rage” pin. In fact, I think that this pin would have been the perfect Black Knight 3000.
It has a pretty deep ruleset, and one of the things I like most about it is that when starting a game you can choose different strategies to work your way through each game.
The playfield toys (Dragon, Throne, Sword Lock, Battering Ram etc.) are great and fit the theme well.
The lighting is amazing but can become overwhelming at times especially the strobe effects during multiball jackpots. And the shaker motor integration is fantastic especially when you hit a Super Jackpot. I highly recommend installing one.
The armor on the LE is beautiful with a smooth glossy black finish and gold dragons inset behind the cutouts on the sides.
I’m a bit disappointed in what Stern is calling a “Mirrored BackGlass” though. It’s just a translite with a small amount of gold foil that has been glued to the back of the glass. Shame on you Stern!
Overall, I find this to be one of the best pins that Stern has released in a very long time and plan on keeping mine.

I know, I’ve never given a game all “6’s” before. But this game is THAT good now that the code is up to snuff. I was 5 years old when Batman was new on TV and I couldn’t wait to see the next episode each week. And in color too! I was very disappointed when BM66 was originally released with the lack of code. I was really excited before I played it but walked away with the word “turd” in mind. Fast forward to today - I have a premium that is modded out to match a SLE (everything except the topper and side art). Now this game is everything I was hoping for when Stern announced it. I love every aspect of the game.
Last night I got into "one of those games" like I get from time to time on TWD - where everything starts stacking and the points start climbing and you start getting to new wizard modes . . .
What a rush! During the "Batusi" wizard mode I had 6 balls in play for around 3 minutes. I got 8 Billion points in that mode alone, ending up with an 18 billion point game. It was amazing! My hands were shaking for about ten minutes after I was done.

TNA is an awesome game with many innovative ideas included in it’s design. The innovative skill shot, the in-playfield LED displays for ball save and for EB and meltdown points, the ball save that you can move as the ball enters the inlanes/outlines and the chance to steal your opponents multi balls all give this game that “just one more game” appeal that makes it hard to walk away from. This game is perfect for tournament play and really gets your heart beating fast. I appreciate the solid feel of the well built cabinet and sub-woofer box as well as the high quality sound system. And the lighting on this game is incredible! Scott incorporated an innovative LED system that is much more serviceable than what is now being built into other mainstream games. Also (optional) shaker integration is fantastic! I’m thinking of adding this pin to my collection.

An exceptional game in every way. As with each JJP game, the build quality is the best in the industry and even surpasses the previous JJP releases. The layout is fast and fun with plenty of shots including ramps, loops, scoops, diverters, a hidden trap door and even a moving target. Three flippers with each having many shots available. This game can be fast and loopy and stop-and-go at the same time. An easy to learn ruleset that remains very challenging. It's a lot harder than I expected to advance through each of the modes. I haven't reached the wizard modes yet, and am glad that it's not too easy to do so. JJP has outdone themselves once again.

The first time I played it I had to have it and ordered it the next week. The build quality, theme, animations and overall quality of design and manufacture is far above anything else currently available as a new pin today. And after seeing how JJP treats their customers and responds to issues discovered after their pins are released is outstanding. They are the leader in the evolution of pinball. Kudos Jersey Jack!
Update. I've sold my Hobbit. Got tired of the long ball times the repetitive play and waiting for the promised final wizard mode. It had such promise . . .

An amazing game by any measure. One of Borg's best. After playing the pro many times at the nearby arcade I decided to buy the Premium even though I'd never seen one. I'm not at all disappointed. This game is so much better than the Pro it's almost like a different game. The lighting goes so well with the theme - throbbing red lights, color changing LEDs integrated artfully with the modes and gameplay and flashers in the Governors' Fish Tank just to name a few. None of the shots are particularly easy. The modes stack and play is fast and furious. This game is not for the faint of heart. If you can't control the ball you will lose it quickly down the outlanes. The magnets add a level of randomness for the advanced player that keeps the level of play intense at all times. With a few essential mods (Gnassel's Bicycle Girl lighting, Millhouse's actor voice callouts from the show, shaker motor, Klipsch SW10 Sub Woofer) this pin is one of the best I've ever played. I'm sure that I'll never want to sell this one!

I love this game! I mean I hate this freaking game! The flow and speed are out of this world. But it's brutal in that it drains quickly if you're not careful. It certainly hooks me into that "just one more game -it ripped me off with that drain" syndrome. I'd love to buy one but I'm afraid that I'd smash it after it just brutalizes me over and over again. I finally got G.C. on a V.E. on location today after trying for two weeks and it made my day!
Update - I just ordered one. I'm weak. But oh so happy!

This is a really great game to introduce your kids to pinball. It's easy to play, has lots of toys and won't frustrate the beginner. If you want to get your whole family into pinball, bring this one into your game room.

A truly bad game in my opinion. The "skill shot" area at the top of the playfield is random, and the huge Bat Cave in the middle of the game blocks a large portion of the upper area of the game. I just don't get it.

This game is ok especially if you're into The Lord of the Rings, which I am. However I find the callouts annoying after a short time and although I'm not religious, the collecting souls aspect bothers me somehow. The Balrog toy in the middle of the playfield is just too big and easy to hit for my taste, and the character figures on the playfield look like bad home mods. The upper left mini playfield just seems to be mostly luck. But to each his own. Many people love this pin - it's just not my cup of tea.

I've played this one a couple dozen times. Although it has some great toys -I love the pop-up trolls, it seems a bit repetitive to me. You can only blast the castle so many times before it becomes boring. Maybe I didn't give it enough time to really appreciate the depth of the rules though. If I get a chance to play it some more and find it more challenging, Ill change my rating.

What can I say? I spent many many hours and allowance quarters playing this in my youth. An evolution in pinball when it was released, Black Knight helped to solidify Steve Ritchie's place as the number 1 pinball designer of all time.

Great fast game. I love high speed games. This o e is pretty simple but I like how where the balls are coming from can be a bit of a guessing game.

The first game I ever bought. Great fast Steve Ritchie gameplay. I just love fast flowing play and this one has it in spades. Keeps me coming back for just one more game. Love the hidden frenzy.

A pretty nice game. Good variety during gameplay and great "just one more game" value. But too unforgiving. Predestined ball save.

What an awesome game! After the 1.6 upgrade this is both visually and audibly stunning. And the play is fantastic. With so many different missions, mission combos and hidden features this game is number one on my list. And what a lightshow! I've put over 1,000 games on mine and continue to be blown away by the depth and complexity of the lights. I hope to someday get to see the "Enterprise Amok" mode. If you've seen the movies on which this is based, you'll enjoy the backglass animations. Each mission is based on a scene from one of the two most recent movies. I can't wait for the ColorDMD to become available. My game will be complete with this addition. I've already put in a full set of Cliffy's and PinBits plastic playfield protectors. I will be keeping this one forever. (Kudos to Cliffy and PinBits - but that's another thread).
