This could be a 10.. or perhaps a 9.5 if the code was good.. It has just about everything you want in pinball., some of the best art in pinball (I absolutely believe this), awesome light show, music, dots, etc. 3rd flipper game with a lot of satisfying shots, feels like SM combined with Tron, IM, and AC/DC. But the CODE IS HORRIBLE.

Best artwork on a pin, period! And the sounds that were matched up to the things such as the lamp and other shots are nothing short of amazing.. It's hard to imagine how they could come up with such a great total package of art, sound, and fun!

For me this is just a fun pin with lots of staying power.. while I wouldn't want to be my only pin, it certainly fits in a small collection!

I had fun for the first few games on this one, but the code is obviously not finished when you play it.. Just gets repetitive and you wish they would have finished it. I love the draw mode, one of the coolest modes! Zero staying power and way too overpriced for an unfinished game.

Super fun game, but after playing this pin for months it just seemed too easy for me and I sold it. Great theme, flow, and toys, but the long ball times can get old once you learn the table..

The most optioned pin that has a great theme and fun gameplay.. If you don't like TZ, you just haven't given it enough time to learn the deep ruleset. From the plunge of the ball for the skillshot, to the 2nd playfield, great use of magnets to set up shots, and the power ball fun, this game delivers and deserves to be one of the best rated games ever in my opinion.

Everything about Tron LE defines what pinball should be.. great gameplay, graphics, music, sound, and theme. How could you not like the mini arcade machine on top of the scoop? Tron LE will most likely stay in my collection forever.. and I don't make that statement lightly..

One of the best looking games out there. Fun at first, but stale ruleset. Spell film over and over.. then get a 2 ball multi-ball that finally opens up that sweet looking ramp. CFTBL is what it is.. a nice looking game that works in a larger collection, but for true players just doesn't draw me back. I do wish that more machines had art as nice as this one, however!

Played this a lot, the title draws you in but if you are a true player it just get's stale.. fast. Long ball times, and the crane gets old (I had a lot of center drains off of the crane shots, but you have to hit them in the locations that cause the drains). After about 20 plays, I didn't find myself caring to play more.

The Shadow surprised me when I first played it, the title and back glass just do nothing for me, but after playing it I became a huge fan and could overlook the art package. Sweet rules, great gameplay, and one of the best mini-playfields in pinball in my opinion. Get one of these while they are still under $2K! It's truly the best value in pinball.

Whitewater delivers in many aspects, it has a lot of satisfying shots, and the challenge to get 5X and whitewater multi ball is just plain fun. I didn't like the music at first, but I think it matches the title and therefore it doesn't bother me. Just a super fun game to play!!

At first I didn't like IM, mainly because I wasn't good at it and it's a tough game that kicks you in the &^$! if you get lazy. The more I played it, the more challenging it became, and the more I wanted to play it more and more. Couple that with an amazing theme, great music, great quotes, and to me this is the total package... if you are a true pinball player. If you like long ball times and easy going play, this is not the pin for you. This is one of my favorite titles when it comes to tournaments, it separates the men from the boys...

I honestly think this game is perfect.. solid gameplay, great ruleset, the best toy in pinball, fantastic humor, and the art is just killer. Wish I could afford one!!

Transformers LE was highly anticipated by me.. and when I played it, I just didn't care to play another game. The toys on the LE are, well, boring, and the features that were promised just weren't there. Gameplay and rules just do nothing for me... period.

This is my second review of this game, and I must admit that it took a while for this game to sink in for me. The first several times I had the opportunity to play it, I just didn't feel like the code and gameplay were straight forward enough, and I was getting bad drains from the bell and TNT bank shots.

Forward to today: A friend of mine purchased the Premium edition a few weeks ago, and I got to put about 100 plays on it last weekend. Totally changed my opinion of the game! First off, he knows how to set up a pin.. it was set a little steeper than what you would set it up from the factory (bubble in dead center to just above dead center), black flipper rubbers for more grip, and a nicely waxed playfield.

After about 10 more games and the time it took me to get used to this game, I was hooked. AC/DC is not a traditional pin with a traditional theme, so once you accept that and focus on it being a pure pinball machine with a music theme, it just clicks. The modes are well thought out, and I liked being able to pick a song and focus on an area to shoot at. The game keeps you on edge and requires super-focus to keep the ball in play, no time to sit back while its going into a mode. Even when the cannon loads, you need to pay attention to the jackpot values to know whether it's worth the risk to shoot the target bank!

I left my friends house wanting an AC/DC LE or Premium, but we have an agreement.. I'll keep my X-men LE, he keeps his AC/DC premium so we can play each others machine and not duplicate titles. Seems like a win/win.

And to justify my rating, here's a little more breakdown-

Artwork- Some of the best in pinball. Flames, LED's, and tasteful AC/DC representations make this awesome. If I had the premium, I would prefer the LTBR glass. But certainly not worthy of bringing the artwork package rating down.

Sounds and music- Again, amazing integration of AC/DC related sounds (bell, "FIGHT!", guitar riffs, etc.) while the 12" subwoofer delivers some kick ass sound. The modes all have killer mode specific sounds, such as the train, bell, car, spinner, etc, all very well integrated and thought out.

Other aspects-

Game Lighting- one of the prettiest in pinball, the color changing LED's for the modes and red/hell theme is very pleasing to the eye, so much that it makes older games seem OLD.

Lastability- Tough game with enough to keep you coming back.. and the occasional breakout game shows me that this would be a long term keeper if I got one. I'm planning on snagging my friends game when he wants to get rid of it :)

Theming- AC/DC is the perfect fit for this game. Almost hard to explain, but it just works! Deep enough music catalog of great songs that get your adrenaline pumping.

Fun- Loads of fun. Even non-pinball people couldn't stay away from this one.
