The sleeping giant...literally & metaphorically. This is a monstrous game (widebody with BIG backbox) with lots to shoot at. I'm sure plenty of non WWF fans have robbed themselves of some fantastically fun pinball by walking past this game.

The ultimate integration of the shaker motor ever. Non pinheadz playing this for the first time completely freak when they achieve Royal Rumble Multiball. OOOOOoo YEAAAHHH!!!

The silent assasin...easy to walk past until you play a game on it. What Robocop lacks in cool artwork & quality sound, it makes up for in outstanding theme integration.

The sound package is there - with all the cool call outs from the film...audio quality is what it is from back in the day though.

Game play is simple to understand & fun to achieve. And the jump ramp is quite simply one of my all time favourite things in all of pinball.

So close...yet so far. From the stereo entrance themes...to the full color LCD mini TitanTron...to a truly unique controllable upper playfield...to the coolest orbit shot in pinball...to the gold armor, gold trim, gold speaker panel & Hulk Hogan autographed gold plaque...WWE LE has the foundations of a legendary pinball machine.

But unfinished game code, some lazy art direction in places & the potential for freakn cool modes that were never realised leave this game as 'very good' but not 'great' - which it could & should be.

I'd gone through my entire life with no desire whatsoever to purchase a NIB pinball machine until the moment I saw Metallica LE! Which says a lot about the Dirty Donny art package - which is a throwback to the iconic pins of the 70s IMO...we'd been waiting a long time for something like this. The art combined with the prospect of one of the most iconic sound packages in pinball history was enough for me to purchase the game never having played it.

So for it to arrive & play the way it did was a dream realised. Jon Borg has applied the magic touch to 2 games in my collection that are all time keepers - GnR & METLE. This is pinball personified.

I've played a lot of different FLINTSTONES at a lot of different locations over the years & it has delivered EVERY TIME! Visually this game separates itself from the pack with it's unique apron & Bedrock houses lining the cabinet walls. On top of EXCELLENT DOTS, LOTS TO DO at both ends of the PF and a REALLY NICE SOUND PACKAGE...this game's main strength is FUNESS!! It's just lots & lots of fun! The only shortcoming for me was that the art package revolved around the FLINTSTONES MOVIE characters - not the CARTOON characters I loved as a kid! So when I was able to get an alternate CARTOON translite & playfield decal...FLINTSTONES moved from my WISH LIST to my COLLECTION!

Pat Lawlor is an all time PINBALL DESIGN GENIUS! In spite of trying to distance himself from the FAMILY GUY theme he has still managed to deliver some unique elements in an era where 'something different' is increasingly challenging to find. As a FG fan this game gets a head start with me, but the STEWIE PINBALL mini pin is so simple but so unique it will appeal to most. Controlling a miniature pinball machine featuring a mini ball with the normal full size flippers & cabinet is bizarre...but most importantly - STACKS OF FUN! Featuring more audio grabs than any other game ever is a huge asset given how friekn funny FG is. FAMILY GUY is my favourite STERN to date!

One of the most visually stunning & unique games EVER!! I remember the first time I saw a WHITE WATER...it was enough just to look at, let alone play! If you just want to bash the ball around this isn't the game for you - there's a hell of a lot crammed into this playfield so choosing your shots is particularly important. Because there's so much plastic moulding on this playfield it's a good idea to avoid air balls that can cause a bit more damage on WH2o than the average pin. BIGFOOT is one of the coolest toys of all time & the FALLS ramp is super satisfying to hit with the 3rd flipper located on the upper playfield. Quite simply, WH2o is a thing of BEAUTY!!!

Coincidentally I was drawn to Mark Ritchie games over the years without realising they were Mark Ritchie games. I loved DINER, TAXI and FISH TALES...so when he built one of my favourite & one of the GREATEST LICENSED THEMES OF ALL TIME I couldn't go wrong! But I never could've imagined how AWESOME Indiana Jones would end up being. There is so much to do in this monster WIDE BODY game. The theme music would've been enough to satisfy me, let alone all the modes that are great stand alone games in their own right!! For me IJ is about the most complete game of the early 90s!! "...you have chosen wisely".

There are a lot of games that are technically better than FISH TALES, but for some reason this is the game I play most in the collection...I guess it's what's known as X Factor (not the dumb TV Show but the intangible quality that makes something inexplicably awesome)! There's something particularly satisfying about hearing that starters gun & a bunch of speed boats fire off when you achieve MULTI BALL. It features one of the great SPINNER SHOTS in modern pinball as well as a really cool VIDEO MODE. And obviously the Mark Ritchie cross over ramp I fell in love with on TAXI keeps me coming back to that boat in the middle!! I could talk about FT all day but I've motivated myself to go & play it instead. AWESOME!!

I think you probably need to love this theme in order to love this game...fortunately for me I love SOUTH PARK! But even as a SP fan I can find this game repetitive. The other biggest problem is that this game was really popular on location when it was released...as a result it's just about impossible to find one that isn't trashed. If you're ever lucky enough to find one that's been looked after however, it's a lot of fun killing Kenny & getting Mr Hanky to pop out of the toilet. In a nutshell - if you're looking for a CHALLENGING pin, SP probably isn't it...if you're looking for a FUN pin, SP delivers!

The greatest DATA EAST of all time! For me GnR personifies pinball...RocknRoll, girls & RocknRoll! If you're not a Guns N Roses fan this is still a fun game with it's ramps shaped like a 'G' & an 'R'...but if you ARE a Guns N Roses fan you'll be hard pressed to find a game you'll enjoy more. It may not be the greatest playing game in history but it has to be one of the most FUN!! Awesome DOTS, SOUNDTRACK, ART & HUMOUR..."of all the bands in the world this is definitely one of them"! LOVE IT!!
