I heart pinball!

I've been into pinball for just about as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Grand Prix in my home for most of my childhood, and have many fond memories of playing pinball with my uncle on the Rehoboth Beach, DE boardwalk in my youth. In my teens I used to hang out at the mall and play pinball all the time in the arcade (we are talking mid-90s at this point). My friend and I would drive all over the place to find new machines to play: bowling alleys, malls, pizza shops, rest stops. In the late 90s I worked at an arcade where I got to play tons of pinball thanks to the 3-6 pinball machines they had at any given time.

Come the early 2000's my pinball hobby faded. I was busy with college, work, travel, and many other things. About 4 years ago I purchased my first home and realized I had an extra room in my basement that could be turned into a game room! Over the last several years I've rediscovered the joys of pinball, including modding and repairing my own machines. It has been a great! It has also been exciting to discover the online pinball communities and make some new friends. I look forward to the many years of pinball fun to come!

Thanks for the story Brucipher.
Grand Prix is an awesome EM to have in the home while growing up!
Welcome aboard and good luck with the game room!
