My Pinball Story

A fond memory I recall as a child is when we used to visit a freind of the family.  He owned a pinball machine(late 70's/early 80'is h) and it had my undivided attention during our visits.  Coming from a modest environment, this was a big treat for me. Thinking back on it, it was probably annoying for the guy to have a seven year old kid abusing his machine. Since then, I have always wanted my own machine and finally made the plunge a few years ago after much internal debate and research.  I now have a few.  Like others here on Pinside, I have the fever and I am always on the hunt for the next.

My wife recently informed me that she is ready to move after 13 yrs at our current location. I have gone with her to a few Open Houses and the first room I look at is the basement. Now when she goes on her own she is aware of my requirements and wont even tell me about a house unless the basement meets my standards. I have to agree that Pinside makes the hobby that much more enjoyable!
