Recent empty nester with too much time, but too early to retire. A friend bought Scooby-Doo, I was floored! Nothing like I remember decades (uggh) ago. Then we went to different pinball lounges with many many many blinky lights, callouts, and the most incredible designs - that's it, I'm mesmerized & hooked! No idea where to begin - was told to start here on Pinside. So, here I am, joining this addictive community. lol

Same here.... bought a house with a modest basement and difficult access. Started with one, maxxed out at 9 (yet have 11 (two are in waiting underneath other games)) I've had over 50 games down and out of here in the last 7 years!!! Careful what you got yourself into, but we are a warm community too and happy to help!
