“Purchased NIB 12/10/2010. Unboxed and set up on 02/11/2020, and found failed batteries and damaged battery holder. 02/20/2020, Svc. Tech installed new MPUWS Playboy Free Play Plug and Play 5.0 BOARD w/NVRAM, and INSTALLED UPGRADED DISPLAY ROM 0 that was purchased from K’s Arcade. Svc. Tech. also on original Power Board removed the battery holder, cleaned the solder holes out since the board had not received any damage, and resoldered the battery back on the board allowing it to be held in reserve for future use if needed. 06/01/2020, all bulbs with the exception of the Backbox, Coin Door, and Start Button have been changed out to LED/SMD’s. Comet Pinball SMD’s were primarily installed, though Ablaze 1 SMD NON-ghosting Warm White / Clear (Pinball Life) were used in applicable inserts due to unavailability from Comet Pinball. Also existing 3/4 Centerfold Spotlight bulbs were replaced with 8x Super Duper SMD’s (Pinball Bulbs), and 4/4 was OPMAX from Comet Pinball. (Spreadsheet created documenting location and type of every bulb and identifying those locations that are now LED/SMD by type and strength, along with the Seller they were purchased from.)”
“Purchased “Used”. Had been out on route at a bar location, had heavy cigarette smoke smell. In 2010, flippers stopped working during play. 11/20/2019, started tear down of WH2O for cleaning, replacement of bad coils, broken Targets, plastics, etc. In the process Cliffy protectors were added at the VUK and Ball Shooter Feed. 02/20/2020, Svc. Tech in to resolve remaining issues that I couldn’t. Repairs made but found defect problem with original Power Driver Board that required replacement. 03/17/2020, Svc. Tech final call installed new Power Driver Board, then made final adjustments as needed, tested pin and found in perfect working order. Boards replaced during rehab of pin were the CPU to a Rottendog Plug and Play Free Play MPU089 board w/NVRAM, DOT Matrix Display board with a Rottendog WPC089 Display board, and the WPC089 Power Driver Board with a WPC 89, A-12697-1, WD8089-4 Power Driver Board, by (all purchased from K’s Arcade). 06/01/2020, pin 100% working, all bulbs changed out to LED/SMD’s. Added 2 SMD strips under Upper Mountain to illuminate it, and added (555) Wedge Socket w/reflector and 8x Super Duper SMD to brighten up Big Foot. (Spreadsheet created documenting location and type of every bulb and identifying those locations that are now LED/SMD by type and strength, along with the Seller they were purchased from.)”
