I have been collecting and playing pinball since the early 1970's.I am a self taught EM master technician and have been repairing EM's for nearly 30 years.I starting buying games to play and soon realized that they all needed some sort of mechanical work to play the way the manufacturer's intended them to play.I now enjoy bringing them back to life as much as playing them.I still play pinball every day and will always love playing and repairing EM's.My first machine was a Williams Hot Line from 1966 that i bought for $200 in 1974 with my paper route money. That was the beginning of the obsession and love for the silver ball. What a life.

Almost identical story here, only on a later date (1975).
Bought a Gottlieb's 4-player Texan, in those days dealers where not that helpful in giving info on repairing and maintanance or even parts.
This changed by the coming of ss pinball, and during the 80's I learned repairing them by myself and with al little help from a friendly dealer nearby.
Now a few decades later I am working on other peoples machines (sometimes more then I can cope...).
Parting out a few favourite machines and buying a pinball 2000 (RFM), just to have something different to play/work on.
But e.m. will still be my favourite to work/play on, it gets in your blood as they say (I think they are right ;-) )
