So, I received my WAMONH module a week ago. I have owned my P3 for right at a year and I now have 4 of the 5 available modules. In addition to the P3, I own 9 other pins, including GZ prem, JP prem, AFMse, GnR LE, Wonka CE, etc. I mention my other pins, because it makes it easier for me to compare. Of the P3 catalog, Heist WAS my favorite and it gets a similar amount of play compared to my other pins by my friends and family. That said, Weird Al is NEXT LEVEL compared to all of them. My wife doesn’t play much and loves GZ, but said, “the shots are all really smooth and fun….everybody is going to love this one!”. Most great games have maybe two amazing “feel good” shots. WAMONH has a bunch of them and with two vertical moving ramps, a hamster wheel lock, a camera lock, a spiral ramp that the ball goes UP, a magnet that throws the ball up a ramp, a super fun upper playfield…..PLUS Weird Al’s 2500+ callouts!!!! I RECEIVED my GnR(currently for sale) also last September. Gnr had total plays 111 over the last year……WAMONH has 41 plays over two weekday evenings. I know there is a long wait, but DO NOT SELL YOUR SPOT if you have one on order. It is worth the wait!!!!!

Ok, so I just received my P3 from Multimorphic a couple of days ago. I was in the typical “out of room” situation, with titles I wasn’t willing to get rid of(WonkaCE, IJ, AFM, JP, etc). While this review will focus on Heist, I was most interested in the swappable game modules moving forward and purchased two additional modules and downloaded 4 additional games to work with those modules for a total of 7 games in one cabinet. Anyway, I’m going to give two brief reviews. First the on the P3 overall platform and then Heist specifically…

P3 platform/machine- if we were talking automobiles, this thing is like a Ferrari. Like you can tell someone has spent hours upon hours staring at one particular part so it looks the best it can. My wife even noticed details like the sides of the backbox were sloped on the bottom to match the slope of the cabinet. There are SO many little details that blow me away……and I can jump from Heist to a game like Barnyard, when my 4 year old grandson wants to play…..in seconds.

Heist- Well, a couple of friends have already told me this is their favorite game in my collection and I have some great games. I LOVE HEIST…..it is so fun AND the interactive playfield, scoops and crane are sweet. It shoots like butter, to the point of making AFM feel, meh. For Stern Zeppelin Premium fans…..I have hit the left ramp, cross town and left inner loop all from the upper flipper….even hit cross town to left ramp combo a few times. The game is so fun, rules are great….I am really looking forward to their “coming soon” licensed module. Nice work Multimorphic!

So, this was my first JJP purchase, though I'm patiently waiting for my GnR LE. I have room for ten pins and in the past Stern held many of those spots. Im now down to just two Sterns, with a mix of other manufactures and older titles....FH, AFM, IJ, JP, SW, etc. In a room surrounded by those great titles and others, this Wonka CE stands tall.....it's not even close! It's a beautiful machine, the build quality is great and it plays AWESOME. All of my friends and family that have seen it ....LOVE it! It's interesting to see some of the classic Pat Lawlor design ideas(FH steps feels similar to the Wonka skill shot) and other fun stuff(I thought I had playfield insert issues, until I remembered that there are magnets under the playfield redirecting the ball at times). Anyway, pinball ratings are always subjective and nothing is a 10...but this Wonka CE is very close! IMO...Pinball Masterpiece!

I bought a Waterworld, because its been a longstanding tradition that when my wife and I find it on tv...we watch what's left.....hour...20 minutes...whatever. Anyway, it sits in a line up with FH, AFM, IJ, JP and others....but it still gets played by friends and family regularly. Its easy for new players to learn techniques like trapping, post passing, etc. There are actually some cool shots that most aren't aware of like tip of left flipper thru the hurry up on the right across the playfield to the harpoon left. Waterworld isn't a top 100 pinball machine, but it's WAY better than the #311 ranking it holds at the time of this review.

I currently own 7 pinball machines, all are in the top 50 and 2 are in the top 10 here on pinside(I realize it’s totally subjective), but this game smokes them all. I’ve been wanting my wife to play pinball, but she just hasn’t been that interested. Well, my JP premium arrived this past Friday and my wife has played EVERYDAY. Keith Elwin and his team did a great job! Dream title, amazing soundtrack, great toys and layout. I’ve got it hooked up to a 10” powered sub and it sounds AWESOME and now I get to hear “do you want to play to pinball?”, instead of always saying it! Thanks for a great one Stern!

Not sure about the pro, as I haven’t played it , but so far, this BKSOR LE far exceeds my expectations. It’s in a strong line up at my house of highly rated games(funhouse,AFMrSE, TSPP, Deadpool pro) and really holds its own with just the early code. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that Steve Ritchie’s BK callouts are really prominent in the sound mix. It seemed from the videos I watched prior to receiving mine, that the music took center stage. I’m pretty sure it’s because most phone/computer speakers aren’t capable of reproducing that kind of deep bass.....the Black Knight callouts are deep, rude and AWESOME! So basically I’m pumped , my family is pumped.....and my friends are rapidly catching my PIN VIRUS!Welcome back BLACK KNIGHT!
