When I was looking to buy my first NIB pin I went with Monster Bash. My second was BKSOR premium. I at first had no interest in Elvira. I looked at it and thought it seemed to open. Played it a couple times on location and did not really get into it because it was not on my radar at all and it did not have the updated code either 1.0.
Went back to Tilt Studios and my wife and I decided to play it after playing JP2 which we enjoyed and were thinking about maybe getting. New code was on EHOH and we sat down on the bar stool (getting old sucks and can’t stand like I used to lol) and started to play.
This time I really paid attention to the game and not just hit the ball. First off I can’t believe how smooth this shoots. I am new to pinball and I never experienced the “shoots like butter” game, and I now have and get what that means. The ball moved on the playfield like a slab of butter on a hot frying pan.
I am not a great player at pinball but after paying attention to the game and shots I needed to make, I totally got into the game. The haunted house lighting and shots were so satisfying and just plain fun to hit.
I didn’t realize it even had a skull bash toy either. The number of shots were way more than I initially even thought possible at first glance. The shot you can’t even see making is one I enjoy the most at the back of the house.
I really appreciate the effort Cassandra put into each and every video cut scene. The amount of movie clips is amazing and love how clips are put together for each player depending on how you play and gives you a hokey B movie title as well.
I just can’t believe how much my wife and I love this game. Also my two daughters and son love it. My son has autism and of all the pins we played the other day on location EHOH was is favorite and is his favorite compared to the ones we have at home.
I wish the premium came with side art blades and the cabinet artwork was a bit better on the premium and matched the backbox art like the limited edition does and have Elvira on the whole side of the cabinet. That is just a minor complaint.
The playfield art has so much in it and the more I looked the more a saw. Loved the artwork by the pop bumpers with Elvira on a pool floaty. The Haunted House for me has to be one of the best toys I have seen and with the different colored lights depending on the game mode made it look and feel like a real haunted house in a b movie horror film.
I just got express how fun this pin is. I kept wanting to play one more game again and again. Was going to get this for Christmas for the family but found out it’s back ordered till Spring 2021. So bought Stranger Things pro for Christmas because my wife and I loved it also as did my daughters and put down a $1000 deposit for Elvira.
Can’t wait to get it next year. Will definitely be a highly anticipated and welcome edition to our home collection.

Disco Stern Electronics, 1977
I was very happy I bought this pin for one of my first EM pins. I was born in 1971 and I love the theme of this game. What better to epitomize the 70’s other than Disco. The backglass has famous faces per se, and it’s fun to ask people who they think they are.
It has 2 spinners and 2 pop bumpers. The spinners are in the center and love hitting them. Spell DISCO to get bonus points. Has 5 rollover targets for 1000 or 10000 points on the left side that is fun and satisfying to get.
Not a deep rule set as with many EM’s but I love this game. My daughter and I play a few games every night. It’s one of my favorites in my collection and is getting most of my play time. Nice to relive my childhood and enjoy an old school game even though it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of newer games.
I highly recommend it if you get a chance to play but only 820 made and not sure how many are left in the Wild. No regrets buying and will never leave my collection.
