Great game, took me awhile to enjoy it as the deeper rules are a bit harder to learn. I love the megladon mode and the moving shot. Lil Deadpool seems a bit cheesy but kinda fits with the theme. I only have played on location but the katana ramp is super hard to nail, which is cool but frustrating. I wish the smaller thinks were easier to understand like what do the ninjas do??? But over all awesome game with new fresh shots.

I had high hopes for this as I love the books and show but I can’t seem to get into it. The art is horrible, just looks like clip art. The light show looks awesome though. I do like the idea of playing different houses and having different functions but had no idea what some of them did when I first started to play this game. I get the rules now and respect them but not super intuitive. Don’t get me wrong, I like deep rule games but the average player should be able to tell what to shoot for. I watch players mash the lock bar button anytime it lights up. This is at my local currently with a gotg and Spider-Man and no one plays it. Just nothing to keep me going back.

Ok so the sound is not great, should have forked over some cash for real actors and gets repetitive. If I owned it I would have the vol at a 1. The game play is fun with the newer code and more balanced scoring. This is another game that got a ton better with better code. Colors are great and Playfield art fits the show. I think it could have been better executed but still a strong game.

Great underrated game (even though it’s in the top 100). Pretty straight fwd rules. Great multiball animation.

Deep deep rules!!! Love the crazy multiball from the Otto shot. I owned this game for a long time due to the deep challenging rules.

Simply the best! This game drew many players into pinball and still keeps you coming back. There is a reason that this game had the most ever produced but is still one of the more expensive and hard to find.
We all know all the call outs by heart.

I wrote this game off for game play when it first came out but now playing the new code 1.06 I think, this is a whole new animal. Shots feel great, lots of different strategies, easy multiball for beginners but still good rules to incorporate in multiball for more advanced players. So Groot is easy to get but It’s not worth Too much on its own. You have to pair it with a mode. Few different fun mini wizard modes. This just might be the best pro model stern has put out as of late. I’m surprised that the other models rate higher as I found the Groot arms to get in the way of visability. I normally prefer premiums but pro is the way to go.
The sound is so so as it’s not even the real actors but I hear if you install the mod for this then It is much better, but I have not played it this way so my rating is based off of sound.

I would have never played this if I had other pins to choose from at the time, but it happened to be the only pin at the bar. I'm so glad I played it now. First off, I hate the theme, don't care for the show, but that being said the theme is really well incorporated. Super bright game and the wheel is done well. I later learned that the contestants are Stern employees, thought that was kinda neat (not that it adds anything.)
The double center drain is like no other pin I have played, even different that other pins with a center post. It really pushed me to get better at nudging. I tend to enjoy pins that push me to improve my skills and this pin will do just that. You have to be a little more patient with the flippers and waiting for that bounce off the center post. The skill shot seemed very tough to get consistently but the plunger felt different every ball, so it may have been the machine. The free spin ball saves is a much needed feature on this pin as this pin can be a drain monster at times.
Overall I think it's different and that makes it fun. Glad it's underrated and hope I can find one to own someday. If you have always passes this one up, give it a chance.

This is one of those pins that makes you feel like you are a better player than you are. I loved this machine when I was first learning how to play. I instantly wanted one and still do. That being said, it does have a number of flaws that leave it overrated in my opinion. Going for the magic trunk over and over gets old. Also not a fan of how easy it is to start MB. The call outs get old and the wizard mode is kind of a joke. I still have fun playing this pin but it gets old.
