My dad worked for a pinball & vending machine company in the '60s. When I was about 10 y.o.a. he brought home an antique, no-power pin that I got working (and I WISH I still had it). In 1971 I moved to San Francisco and spent 3 years working as a pinball repair person. It was a dream job. The pins, of course, were all mechanical until Pong appeared.
Pinballs were out of my life until 2005, when I learned that one of my clients in Germany was a hardcore pinball person. I bought a Twilight Zone & Road Show and refurbished and upgraded them.
I'll try to update this later. I am grateful for this site.
