Most seem to love this game but I'm not so convinced, maybe I need more time with it but I gave it 10 credits and the game seem pretty average to me.

The game play is quite good, nice flowing ramps and loops but the bumper area seems to be a bit forgotten. The layout is nice, I like it but I don't understand the bullseye target. What is it's purpose other than just being a "cool" jump for the ball? Besides the ball got stuck in the upper area under the target several times and the game went into search for the ball. Very boring and killed the flow immediately.

The machine package as a whole is a bit lacking. Sound quality is poor but the music rocks, however the chosen song in the beginning is constantly interrupted with music from other modes and then continues when the mode ended. This is entirely different from how Metallica and ACDC works which both are superior in this sense.

Playfield art is a bit boring, lot's of sand colors and Egyptian themes from the Powerslave album that doesn't sit well with me. There's very little in art and design going on anywhere because the game is essentially themed after the Legacy of the Beast mobile game. Stern and ZombieYeti wasn't completely free to do what they wanted.

Finally the LCD doesn't do it for me. The animations are bad, really bad. There's very little integration with what's going on in the playfield. There's some information about the number of shots left or hits to a ramp you need to make, which is nice but the animations are pretty ugly. I'll take a high quality DMD animation any day of the week if this is the alternative.
Deadpool does it right, this game doesn't. Iron Maiden LCD content won't age well. Very forgettable.

TLDR: Come for the music, stay for the gameplay. Forget the rest.

Challenging game with fast loop, steep ramps and bouncy standup targets to the sides. Requires a lot of control or it will send the ball lightning fast back at you.

Art package and sound design is meh. Ok players game but not very fun in the long run unless you're a die hard Iron Man fan.

Ugh this game. It's one of those I really want to like because of the theme. It's put together and integrated quite well but I'm just not that into hearing Smash Mouth every time.

Rules are decent. Modes are OK, and mini pinball game feels like an afterthought. Pass

Fun pinball licensed on a terrible movie. Shots are great and the ramp diverters are a unique Gimmick that adds to the rules and scoring strategies. I hate the artwork package especially the translite. Not a fan of the battlefield mini playfield either.

I did not like this machine for a long time. I never watched the show but zombies are a long lasting theme anyway so that doesn't matter. For me it was always the off-putting white lighting and playfield artwork that threw me off, but I'm starting to see beyond it. The game is a tough mofo to play and will punish you if you're not able to play in control. The rules are deep and there are many strategic shots in order to score massively like the multiplier inlane for the upcoming shot. I play this game more and more whenever I have access to it and I see why it has a steady fan base.

Fun playing rafting themed game with great music and nice shots that have a good feel to them. This game has really good gameplay but is a bit lacking in artwork and lighting design. It's a bit dark like most 90's games and the colors are all brown and blue. Good game to have in a small to medium collection.

Such a forgotten classic. The pin bombed upon release but it has so much going for it. The in-cabinet DMD is so good, all pins should have it here. The psychedelic theme and artwork is amazing. Love it.

Tough game with unnecessary stupid outlanes where the right one is also obstructed by the ramp.

A very fun Lawlor design. The light show is second to none. The Sim City like world feels great but the sound design and some features like the selfie cam gets old quickly. I like how it plays though and usually come back after pausing for something else.

Excellent game! Top 10 machines ever made. Too bad it's prone to technical issues, but the theme and music is so right.

One of the best pins ever made. SO much to do, so much to experience. The whole package is great but the vertical zig zag playing is not my favourite. The theme is superb.

Hate the theme, gate the colors. Brown and orange everywhere. OK playfield layout and gameplay but not a fan at all. Pass

It's Metallica layout with scifi.

Would've been Ok to play if the music wouldn't cut out all the time. The game never shuts up it just plays clips and quotes from the movie. ALL. THE. TIME.
Extremely annoying, too bad.

Good game but I tend to lose interest quickly. Do not like this photoshopped art style that is so common with Stern

Probably fun enough for the fans but I'm not into the show at all. Don't really like the layout, master the upper ramp shot and play like the pros. That's it.

Great lighting, music and design but playfield artwork and sterns use of huge generic inserts is really off-putting. OK game, wouldn't want to own one.

A classic when it came but rules are so simple and game is broken with its billion shot. Artwork is hideous in my opinion except the cabinet which looks great in its purple. Had it for a few months and then passed it on.

Love the movie but the pinball experience is not quite up to par. I like ramps and this game is all about ramps and flow (except for the cryo claw). Sound and music is good with plenty of quotes from the movie. Artwork is not very fun, playfield is boring almost Gottlieb 90s quality and translite is horrible. Decent pin to have even in a smaller collection. I do like it!

Excellent Start Trek "update". The warp shot is so satisfying. The pro model is just as good as premium and limited minus a smaller lightshow but that is very much so OK. The rules needs to be straighten out with code uptates but I keep coming back to it.

Great sound, excellent lightshow around and fun gameplay. A bit dull playfield art unfortunately.

Love this game. One of the best System 11. Very similar to the twin game Whirlwind. Simple rules but fun nonetheless.
Make sure you live in a house when owning this, because it's a earthshaker when that shaker motor starts.

Beautiful backglass art.

A classic horror theme that always seem to work. Great ramps, fun modes, good looking lamps. What's not to like?

Classic, good theme but not the best system 9. Great artwork though.

Chads new code really transformed this game from good to great! Balanced scoring and many bug fixes. It deserves a spot in the top 100.

I've played this machine several times before and I finally got my hands on a nice one. Baywatch is the ultimate cheese factor for me. The cabinet is colorful and lively instead of the usual black coffins which is always a head-turner imo. Baywatch is probably Segas finest machine, it has loads of shots and ramps, target banks, drop targets, spinner, VUK, and the rules are decent. It's usually repeated ramp shots to collect a letter or start a mode, somewhat like the fan layout machines like Monster Bash or Medieval Madness. But some of them can be really difficult.

I've always liked the hand-drawn artwork on DE and Sega and this is no different. A bit boring center playfield and dark but the rest is pretty nice. The theme keeps it together well. 90's cheese with the Hof and Pamela Anderson is a ok in my book.

The sound is as usual the weakest point with low quality midi music but the fx is good enough. This machine benefits from better quality speakers.

All in all, a very fun game with lastability.

Everything about RFM has been already been said. The layout is a bit too open in my opinion with only two ramps but the main thing about this game is of course that center "3D" image. A unique thinking ahead of its time when pinball was dying resulted in this amazing fun game.

Full of pop culture references, humour, ous callouts, great 90s music and good gameplay. The hypnoball is so much fun every time! Rules are not very complex, it's all about the modes which are all video modes (naturally), and the multiballs. Wish I had one more tricky ramp shot or something to get a bit more combo flow. In laters software versions its possible to change behavior of the upper gates in order to get more flow on the loop shot. Pinball 2000 machines are also a bit smaller then a traditional pinball, but hey...that's how they are.

The absolutely best thing about this game is its easy maintenance and serviceability. How I wish all pinball machines were like this. Great diagnostics, easy to work, simple and clever design. Just wow. Never getting rid of my machine, except if I maybe find one in MINT condition.

Update: got rid of the game. lol

I can't even comprehend how ugly the PF is. Grey background with spots (people). That alone is enough to never stand in the presence of it. Oh my god just gouge out my eyes already.

Nice looking game, with great artwork and amazing music, one of the more charming 80s games. Maybe not very lastable.

Best Gottlieb machine of all. The PF is busy with a nice look, a lot of gold and yellow colours. Lots of shots and toys but the game isn't too deep. SHOOT THE PYRAMID callout gets really tiresome. Would get it if I find a decent deal. But maybe not recommended in a smaller collection, you need to try it to see if it fits your taste. Cabinet design is weird but backglass is cool and draws you in.

Used to like this game a lot at the local fun park 15 years ago. I always like bash toys. However, can't stand that awful music when returning to this machine today. The theme is meh and goal of the game is uninspiring to me.

Cool game, nice looking design and fun theme, horror is always great. Love the DE art style. That crypt keeper laugh is annoying but it's so much better in Chads new custom code. A must have in this machine. Lots of REALLY challenging shots. It takes a bit time to master them, because this game is brutal. It will punish you quickly with fast ricochets and deadly outlanes. Don't expect long ball times.

Cool game, but suddenly becomes crap once you've tried High Speed 2. Would only get it if I find it really cheap. Design is so-so but as all 80s game this really pops when LEDs are used properly. Theme is nice otherwise, really appeals to me. One of the better 80s machines in my opinion.

Not for me at all. Cluttered playfield with ugly colours. A nightmare to shop! Cabinet is ugly but the backbox is ok just because of the side art.

Rules are ok, but the game is too slow. Also has random aspects like the roulette and slots. No...I usually avoid it.

I love ramp shots, and this game got plenty of that. RED mode is very effective and cool with pulsating flashers. Artwork on the PF is one of worst out there but I don't mind. The movie sucks but the pinball machine is better. Kind of like a T2+. Rules are therefore kind of simple, but I like it. Get it if you find a good deal.

Such a waste of a fun theme. The center cannon ramp is such a drag, and the pf layout is simply uninspired to say it nice. One of williams worst DMD games. Don't know why it's held in such a high regard.

Excellent machine, very underrated! Gameplay is very good, full of difficult ramp shots that require power. Especially the top right flipper requires mastering. Plenty of fun modes, hurry-ups and things to do. Nice balance of flow, some times you make those ramps all day long and sometimes you're stuck in a post-apocalyptic (pun intended) bounce. The outlanes are brutal and this machine needs a skilled player able to control the ball.

Some dislike the PF art. I love it, it feels like a cheesy 80s intro. Kind of like a comic book almost. The colours are nice and well balanced but the lighting makes it look kind of washed out and brown. This game really shines with brighter LEDs even if they're only white.

I'm a fan of deadpan humour. Some like shouty callouts and things to be "exciting", but I think Clint's low key style and cold hard voice is perfect. You feel like you're really out for the bad guys here. Music is meh, but fits the theme.

All in all a machine that really should be at least in the top 50!

Top Gun craze all the way. Everybody knows about this one. The light show is second to none and the theme is full of 80s cheese without paying expensive licenses. The game has a pretty simple playfield without any ramps except for the locks but it does great for what it is. A very fast game which is difficult to master. One of the more charming System 11s out there.

Love this game, it's star wars after all. The PF artwork is gorgeous. One of the best looking Data East machines, if not the best. However, since it's Data East, the sound quality is poor. This game should always have the pinsound upgrade. And the custom reprogrammed rules that makes it a lot better (get the updated ones for Jurassic Park too!) I want this in my collection!

I like this "need for speed" type of theme. The game looks, plays and feels great. One of my favourites.

Worst game of this era (post 2000s). I can't even begin to describe how terrible design and gameplay this machine has. Didn't anyone test this game before release? Ball ALWAYS gets stuck on the Hulk. It doesn't help that I really don't like marvel superheroes and such.

Just go Fargo on all of them and throw them in the chipper. Thumbs down, hard.

AC/DC is not my favourite band in the world, but they work so well as a Pinball thanks to Stern. The machine just have perfect themes, rules and gameplay connected to each of the featured songs. It's so well thought out and smart designed. The light and sound is top notch and the machine is just gorgeous to look at. This is a perfect home machine.

This is a game which looks terrible bone stock. The graphics are low res, the lighting is boring. The colors are brown, beige and yellow. Good then that it is one of the best Stern games around. The theme is awesome, the modes are fun, the playfield is action packed but a bit lacking in the ramp area. Perfect game for home use as the balls can be kept alive forever even as mediocre player.

I love this machine. It's loaded with features, mini playfield, wide body, shaker, drop targets, ramps. It has a fun theme (I love early 90s wrestling) and some pretty darn good music (even if it sound a bit weak as usual with Data East midi). The music has a lot of variation with each wrestler having their own theme. How can you not get pumped up on Hogans third theme (start third ball) with a syncronized flasher?!

The art on the playfield is colorful, fun and nicely done. There are tonnes of modes and a six ball multiball.

This machine would be at least a 5000 dollar machine if it had been stamped Williams on it!

A very simple game really, but I keep coming back to it. Sometimes I don't want layers upon layers of modes. I want quick simple action and Super Mario Bros delivers every time. Easy to get into, fun theme and excellent sound effects and music. They toys and gimmick are on the downside but that's ok, it means the game will work, like all the other gottlieb machines, every time. Mine has some of the usual wear around holes and pop bumpers but otherwise in good condition. A machine that should be held higher in regards than it is.

Well. it's a music game based on metallica, so the music department is awesome. Also, the playfield artwork is reeeally nice and it has a nice color theme. But the rules are kind of boring and there's really not that much to do. Maybe I didn't play it enough? Bash Sparky for multiball.

This game seems underrated by many, but I love the theme and gameplay. Really fun! Not very deep otherwise, all focus is on fighting different brawlers from around the world. Could've expanded it a little more maybe because its kind of "narrow"

Top rated game by many, naturally. It's a well designed super fun theme with top notch sound and humour. But the gameplay is a bit boring as well are the rules. Go for locks and multiball, repeat ramps and bash the UFO. Master it and you will quickly beat this game.

Excellent theme and well made game with lots of toys but not very fun for me. I always try to give it chance when I run across it but it gets a bit boring quickly, maybe I need to spend more time on it. The lighting is really dark and dull. This game needs LEDs.

Very similar game setup as medieval madness and attack from mars, but maybe this is why these three games rank at the top? This machine is gorgeous, lots of toys, cool monsters, themes, humour and music. The complete shebang. Would love to own one.

This is a difficult drain monster. But you gotta love the crossed wire ramps coming from the boat pf. Such a good flow when you hit those cross shots. Not too deep game, but kind of difficult to master anyway with those deadly center lock ball shots.
