What is there to say about this pin that has not been said before. It is the ultimate together with AFM. Challenging, unique theme, lots of humor, good built quality, the gumball machine and powerball. Will it ever have an equal in the future? Hard to beat. Sold it after 15 years playing to make room for fresh machines. Every pinhead should have it for a number of years. Don’t forget the song by Golden Earring that is the baasis for the soundtrack....nice!! Would I buy a remake? probably not....I played it so much that after all the years I still can playback the music, call outs and gameplay in my head....

Hard to pick your favorite game with so many great ones out there but if I was forced to choose one it would probably be TZ.
I have never owned one and feel like I've only scratched the surface while having a handful of killer games. This one and AF just feel like perfect pins!! I'm still learning how great these 90's pins are and TZ is the KingPin!!

Classic game and probably one of the best wide body games made. Very fun layout. Gumball machine is great and really like the Powerball. the upper playfield is fun. Would own this game in a heartbeat if I could. Very challenging to get to the wizard mode. Never get bored of this one.

This game has it all. There's a reason it's one of the highest ranked pinballs in the top 100 rankings. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. Very deep rule set, this pinball machine keeps you coming back for more!

I’m lucky enough to own an original 3 magnet game which adds some cool variation to the start of multiballs and spiral awards.The game itself is a masterpiece it truly epitomises every aspect we regard for evaluating and enjoying the game of pinball. If you haven’t played a twilight zone you must.

Twilight Zone is one of those games where everything just works perfect together. There are many different modes and a lot to shoot for. The Powerball is a great unique feature in the game. Playfield layout is great, except for the ball shooting down the left outlane sometimes from the pop bumpers. The music, voices and light show in this game is top notch.

This game is #1 in my opinion! but I have played all of the other games yet. I just love the game and the toys on the playfield especially the bubble gum machine. Awesome game and theme!

Although incredibly frustrating at times this is one of the top 5 games ever made. Endlessly playable and one of the most unique and memorable pins. Pat Lawlor innovation all over this thing and endless eye candy. Game can be start and stop as folks often mention in regard to Lawlor pins, but just the sheer amount of shots and things happening almost demands the game slow things down for you. There's no nicer looking machine out there and no game more fun to play.

I'm going to go against the flow and say this one is not my favorite. I can just never get into it. The mini-playfield is cool, but the magnetic flippers are hard to use. I don't really follow the rules and don't know what I'm supposed to do. Maybe this is one of those machines where you have to fully understand the rule set to have a lot of fun. I have never found a twilight zone that didn't sound like shitake mushrooms. Maybe it's just the age of the machines but I find the sound quality on these to be sub-par. I'm also not a huge fan of the playfield art. I like the theme though...

I am updating my rating 2 years after the earlier rating, after snagging one of these for my basement. Overall, it is a fun game, but not as fun as many others. I would rate TAF higher. I will say that I have upped the sound rating after having a nice example I could actually understand. There is tons to do in this game, but alot of it can be bypassed. You only have to start all the modes to get to the endgame, and there is no reward for actually finishing the modes. The powerball is well implemented and the more I play the game and understand it the more I like it. However, at this price point I will be moving the game along in a few months for something else as there are just other games I'd rather have at this price point. I love some of the other Superpins but my enjoyment of this game has been transient at best.

Getting Lost in the Zone is always a challenge to achieve. I find this pin to be a spectacular piece of American Art. IMO the rules are actually pretty simple, hit slot machine, hit ramp, hit piano hit ramp etc... Until you get lost in the Zone. I've actually gone back and watched all the episodes of Twilight Zone so i could relate to what is happening on the Playfield. The integration of Theme is excellent to say the least. Once again another machine that you have to be accurate in your shots.
I've had several of the newer Sterns, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Man, Spiderman, however just find the original classics to be outstanding.

This is one of a hand full of games that can be called the best of the best. As with all pins, the table needs to be in good operating order to be fairly judged. I feel a lot of the classic titles are moving down the top 100 list because new players can't find good examples to play. Trust me, TZ deserves the top spot.
