This review is based on aab mode and 5 ball setting. Machine is clean, waxed, fresh rubbers, sensitive pop bumpers like mouse traps, and slings aswell and I'm guessing 4.5 degree slope for zippy play. Oh yes nice flippers, no juiced up coils, everything clean and properly maintained....

What a fun and incredible pinball this Team One is.
I absolutely think it's making its way to the top of my list.
Alot of pinsiders complain about the art and theme package. Me personally, I love it!!! I like the soccer theme, not many soccer theme pinballs around, even more so during the 70's e.m era. The backglass is funny, there's a soccer player that looks like Jay Leno. Backglass theme seems to be a pre-game workout stretch before opening whistle. I like lighting up the red flags to indicate extra ball rewards. Make sure you install the brightest red bulbs in the backglass right where those aab flags are.
Gottlieb chimes are always a blast, Espicially when they are tuned.
Cabinet art works
Game play varies from machine to machine depending on maintenance, if it's properly maintained with fresh bands and nice flippers and sensitive pops and slings this game will keep you pushing that big red button

Amazing game

I had Abra Ca Dabra and really enjoyed it! I didn't think I would with the lower Pop bumpers, but it's what makes the game.

I sought a Team One after playing it at Pacific Pinball Museum for the Abra fun and the addition of Add-A-Ball.

Great game to play, lots of fun. Theme takes away from it, but hey, Go Brazil!

My favorite part is Jay Leno in the backglass!

Hahaha Team One is (as of 4-15-15) not in the top 100, but it's better looking (but less fun) cousin AbraCaDabra is No. 1. Yes the art is arguably not as good, and it's an Add-A-Ball, but the aab aspect is what many say makes this game superior. Team One is much rarer, a better player (IMHO), and should be MUCH MUCH higher on these list. But, it's rare, so not many have played it. You want a #1 playing pin for 1/2 the price? Keep on the lookout for a Team One!

I own Team One...so I could be biased, but only slightly.

Wowie what a game! Had a blast playing this title recently. Real great fun trying to get the Wow's, great game to nudge with. Great placement with the bumpers. A+ all around

Nice relaxing game with a lot of fun added in. Sure it's a shoot the drop targets game and not much else but this is when pinball was simple and not like the overpriced junk they call pinball today.

I looked at a Team One and an Abracadabra and bought the TO instead because of the AAB factor, if it's just looks Abracadabra wins hands down. But I love the AAB rules better. And you're always trying to hit the lit drop target for 5k versus the 500 point ones.

Two important things to do if you buy a Team One. First set it up as steep and challenging as possible and most definitely set it for three ball play or you will have half hour games with 500k points and get sick of it quickly. Three ball play and a steep slope can lead to quick challenging games!

650 made. I have a nice example and someone will want it after me. But for now it's play on player and have fun with Team One.

One of the few games designed by the criminally short career of Jeff Brenner.

The Pros:
A great layout with fantastic action and solid shots. Jeff Brenner did not design too many games. This is one of 4 playfields that he worked on. I say worked on because Lawman was the PF for Atlantis. However, I will say that his body of work at Gottleib has produced some of the best EM tables out there.

The Cons:
I'm usually a big fan of Add-a-ball games, but the challenge of Abra-Ca-Dabra is not in this deck. The balance of the ruleset must be adjusted with the steepness and nastification of the table. The theme... well... could be anything. This ruleset is too simple and easy to max out!

The Takeaway:
Collectors may gush over the rarity of this title, but it is not anywhere in the same league of the EM playing perfection of Abra-Ca-Dabra.

Team One is no Abra Ca Dabra but it's some of my favorite art. I really like the layout and it's fun to play. It really seems like the scoring lets this table down as some of the easier and least fun things to hit get the most points. I usually just play it for fun and don't really look at the score.
Edit: I'm not sure why I said the scoring wasn't good. Lots to shoot for and different ways to get EB. It's a well thought out package. Must be a product of playing it at the Pinball Hall of Fame. Too many machines to play.
