My first pinball machine.

My buddy found a guy selling this on Craigslist and arranged for us to check it out. The seller was very helpful and explained the basic functions of the table, as well as maintenance, and we hauled it home.

I know this game gets a bad rap because of the artwork, but it's pretty fun to play. The sniper drop targets remind me of the quick draw event in Cactus Canyon, the drop ramp on the left is a fun shot to try to make, and the helicopter spinning its blades when you roll through the spinner is a really nice touch.

As a kid, my dad had a Harlem Globetrotters table in our basement. My friends and I played the crap out of that machine, and he sold it when I wasn't looking. (or maybe when I stopped playing it, who knows?) I thought it would be nice to have a machine for my kids as well, and my son will be checking it out tomorrow for the first time on Father's day.

I'll probably make up some Rambo art and have it printed on translucent vinyl to replace the art. I think that if the art had been less corny, people would review this game much better. It's not my ideal pinball machine to own, but for the price I got it at, it's a great first pinball machine. It's certain better than the Globetrotters pin. ;)

I'm just surprised this thing runs after we lugged it down into my basement.

Having friends looking out for machines is one of the great ways to start/build your collection. Great job on getting your machine (thumbs up!)

You could always replace it with this alternate translite--
