  • Stern's Orbitor 1 was actually designed by two outside engineers who had never worked in pinball, inspired by a perpetual motion exhibit at the Smithsonian
  • Orbitor 1 has a required "Minimum Game Time" feature that cannot be turned off. If the player has not attained the minimum game time before their last ball drains, they will continue to get a free one until the minimum time is achieved
