Monster Bash is an absolute classic. One of the all time greats in my book. Great art, theme, features, shots, it's got it all. It can be a little easy at times, especially when it's in good shape and the flippers are strong. A great example of the incredible era of pinballs produced by Williams in the 90s. Love how each of the character has their own shot and feature in the game. Alot of games have great playability or great theme/art. This game has both.

Super fun game. Great theme and artwork. Lighting is a little dim by the flippers but there are upgrades for this. This is my wife's favorite.

The only thing I don't like about this game is Phantom Flip. It's a novelty that ends up detracting from the play experience in the long run.
It's fun how the scoop gives you something for free. You don't have to light mystery or anything. The electric coils on the playfield art by the flippers is a nice touch.
Frankenstein playing the keyboard with rigor mortis arms.
The Bride's oedipal love for her creator.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon holding both a saxophone and a damsel in distress on the backglass.
The audience with their pitchforks and torches instead of zippo lighters.

One of the “Big 4” classics from 90s Williams (along with MM, TZ, and ToM). Great game! What’s more to say? One of the must-play games in pinball.

Absolutely one of the best games ever! Love the Edgar Winter organ sound! The game just makes you smile. It doesn’t feel like you got robbed when it drains although Frankenstein targets are high risk. Easy to follow and accessible rules- very hard to complete everything.

This is by far one of my favorite games to date. Everything about it is great. I love the theme, the lighting, the callouts. There isn't really isn't anything negative to say about it. It's also very welcoming to new players. I got a few friends into pinball with this machine.

"Man, that sarcophagus sucked!"

Monster Bash has to be one of the most approachable pinballs in history. The ruleset is easy for beginners to pick up on and the theme gives it great appeal to both adults and kids alike. Plus it's just plain fun!

Pros:
+ straightforward objectives
+ TERRIFIC callouts with lots of humor & plenty of variability. "somebody fetch me a raaa-zor!"
+ awesome animations. A color DMD makes a world of difference in this one!
+ great lightshow prior to Monster Bash/Monsters of Rock multiball
+ collecting smart missiles from skill shots or scoop awards helps a lot during modes. I LOVE that each one has a tie-in with a specific monster (spear gun for Creech, garlic clove for Drac, hair dryer for Bride, etc)

Cons:
- sometimes the ball will get stuck in the groove on the playfield where Dracula's arc lies, but it's nothing a bit of nudging can't fix ;)

Overall, MB is a wonderful game with good flow, fun toys, excellent sound, and a theme that just makes perfect sense. It's earned its spot in the Pinside top 10!

Monsterbash! one of the greats. Some are really dark. I've never had a chance to get deep in the rule set, but I know its excellent.

One of my favorite Williams Games. What a fun theme, well thought out and realized by the designers. It lacks nothing.

This is another of my all-time favorites that I had played in the past. I would love to own one of these, maybe one day.

totally fun with an incredible art!
theme is a must but rules are not very deep and this pinball is a bit repetitive after a while.
a good pinball for casual player and all the family
but not for hardcore players in a home use environment

Love this game.... played in may states over the years and it's always a fun time even when not fully working. Modes are very stackable and getting max scores requires good layering. Fast, fun layout, well themed and no matter how much I play i never get bored. One that I'd buy if I had the space.

The game does so many things right, it’s a classic. The moving Dracula and rotating Frankenstein make for fun moving target gameplay. Fun game, though kind of busy up top. Worthy of your time.

Wow what a classic. Super good humor and excellent toys - Dracula moving around and Frankenstein's monster rotating vertical. Ramp shots could be improved especially left ramp for Bride - it often doesn't go all the way.

Once again, it really doesn’t get any better than this. Ask yourself if you really like pinball if you dislike this machine.

Good pinball machine, but too easy. Much toy, i love this flipper but his price is too expensive for me to have in my gameroom :)

This game is fun for all levels and/but to score well you need to know the rules and shots to hit. Frankenstein and drac are fun bash toy targets. Music and lights are great.

The game does so many things right. However, after some time, it get's boring. The number of shots is too limited for me. People who prefer machines with a nice flow, might love it, but my pin had to go again.

Played the digital version of this game and it helped me understand the depth and goals of pinball more accurately, so I have a soft spot for this one.

But the theme, music, and callouts are pretty much perfection. The toys, the whole concept of the band, it’s just so damn fun.

Can be a bit repetitive, but I’d still love to own the remake someday.

This game is a bonafide classic.

Played a lot of classic Monster Bash. It was never one of my favorites back then compared to MM and AFM but I always enjoyed a game or two. Going back and playing the Chicago Gaming remake at my local arcade and it's surprising how much better it is still gameplay wise compared to a lot of newer titles. Sometimes, less is more and this one has held up against time very well.
