There are so many shots in this game, including five in just the top right corner! Lots of multi-level wireforms and ramps. Great flow. Theme is OK for family friendiness, but maybe not for young kids. The planet orb thing is great, but you'll need the modded ROM to run it.

I have to say, I was partial to Williams but JD is my first Bally and it’s quite an awesome game. I was skeptical that the Judge Dredd theme would hold my attention but it does not disappoint.

There is so much ground to cover on the playfield since it’s a widebody and the layout is really impressive. The multiball, riff rock music and speech keep me coming back. In my opinion, this game should be closer to the top of the 100 list.

1993 was filled with so many amazing games, Judge Dredd kind of got overlooked. The playfield design is completely unique. The two mini loops at the top are awesome and really give this game some speed. Triple stack wireforms, 4 ramps, 3 captive balls, Drop target bank....this game is loaded. Add in a great art package (especially the dark judges on playfield), excellent music with great call outs and some of the best DMD animations around makes this easily one of the very best bang-for-the-buck games. Dark humor and pinball seldom go together, but Bally pulled it off here with some great easter eggs thrown in. Dead world is cool even if it is a little too big on playfield space, and "Super Game" is a fun alternative way to play. The modes have great variation forcing you to make all the shots on the playfield. "Pursuit" is a standout having to check the dmd while ball is in play. Deep code just adds to an already great package with the Dredd.

One of the best games ever made by Bally ever.

Judge Dredd gets a lot of hate ... I like the game. Can be a bit stop-start, but it's a good wide body game.

Judge Dredd is another game I’ve played the crap out of. This is one of the best mode-based games with tons of shots, awesome flow, great rules, attractive art and very cool sound. If you want to become a better player, this game will help. The flipper gap on this game is a bit wider than normal, so you need to utilize your bounce pass skills and volley skills to keep alive. The ramps and orbit shots are lightning fast, and locks to the multiball are so creative. Just so many reasons to love this game. It seems to still be at an affordable price for the amount of game you get, but it seems these B titles are on the rise as A-list and new titles become more expensive.

Another big disappointment when this game came out for me. I was a fan of the movie and thought this game would be amazing . For some reason I think expectations were too high and just turned me off. At first glance the game looks like the artwork and playfield was just rushed into production without much thought or inspiration. The gameplay wasn't really terrible but its just not a theme I could ever get into.

Wow, what a fun pin to play.

6 ball multi ball
4 flippers
4 Ramps
dead World
So many shots and things to shoot for
Very entertaining
Supergame. It's like having 2 games in one

Too many shots, makes you think way to much lol Sarcasm
Dark play field, either got to add spot lights, or bright LED lights

This is a must have game because it's so much fun. There are so many shots and things to shoot for. 48th rank game for a very reasonable price.

Best art package!

Top five favorite pins of all time. Glad the theme is from the comic and not the movie! Putting away degenerates in a post apocalyptic setting, Deadworld multi ball, sniper in the tower, battling a human tank--- All provide a dazzling variety of shots! Drop targets, kickback, habitrails, ramps, loops, this table has everything a great table should have, especially when it offers that alternative game play!

Its all about the long ramp shots with this one, still it is quite a fun game once you get the rhythm of the table down.

very fun game, a lot to do and is a great game to have at home. The only default, is the light, its a dark machine, but i add 4 spotlight and is now perfect.
With a colordmd its awsome because is probably the best animations i see in pinball.

This game is amazing. There are tons of different modes to play, which keeps the game fresh. Animations are incredible with a color DMD. Artwork on the playfield, back glass and cabinet are some of my favorite and definitely match the comic. Really enjoy the call outs and music, although the multi-ball music does its work of being harrying/irritating. Lots of things to shoot for here and very challenging shot making. Bally/Williams from this time period have such a nice, smooth flow when you get them going. The playfield definitely needs LED/extra lighting to show off the artwork.

Judge Dredd is an excellent game (I write having owned it for 2 weeks now). I first played it about a year ago, and then got to spend more time with it a few months ago. Game has amazing flow. Excellent ramps and wireworms. Fun modes. Deadworld is cool. People say the dots are great, but the game has so much flow I never get to look at them.

Supergame is also a fun modification to the regular game (and it keeps a separate high score, so that fact that you get more points isn't a negative!).

Time will tell, but it's a keeper. Get one before the price skyrockets. Best kept secret in pinball....

Have owned this game for 8months ! Always have a blast playing it, super game is awesome.
Down side it has a very dark Playfield even with LEDs installed !!!

Fun game. Needs to be played in a fairly well lit room, as the playfield lighting is dim.

Judge Dredd is a cool machine. Animations are great, albeit graphic at times. I love the artwork and colors, but lighting is not great until you start adding LEDs, strips and spotlights. Plenty of modes, but wizard mode is weak. The layout in this game is terrific, plenty of angles and stuff to shoot for. Ball lock is second best in pinball, only to The Shadow, but Deadworld mod be finicky. Topper is cool looking and Super Game gives it even more lastibility. For me, ultimately it didn't give a difficult challenge and ongoing repair/maintenance made me sell it.

Interesting widebody machine. Lot's of ramps, lot's of flow. 4 flipper action packed WPC game. I like it! Give it a try!

I don't like music and the flow!where are the bumpers ?it's not a real pinball!the playfield is too dark!the gameplay is quite easy!

Just couldn't get into this pin. I enjoy most widebody games, but with this one the shots just didn't seem rewarding and felt very repetitive.

Flipper average as game but managed nothing from aesthetic point of view, certainly the issue does not help .....

This game is a lot of fun. Easy to start modes and a lot of variety for shots.

I like Dredd-Nice wide body flow, deadworld is a little slow but well designed, a lot of wire rails is never a bad thing. I will always play this when I see one. Game has a great fun to price factor. Led's make this game pop!

I feel like I should like JD more than I do. I generally love widebodies with lots of toys and stuff to shoot for, but I never feel excited playing JD. It has the classic widebody problem of pointless stuff on the playfield. The captive balls are super cool and make a great sound effect when you hit them, but you don't have a lot of motivation to shoot them intentionally. The left outlane that lobs the ball up to the upper flipper is a nice way to set that up but it feels like it's there because they needed to fill out widebody space, the feature sure didn't warrant making the game a widebody. The lighting is abyssmal. The crane and deadworld don't do anything except waste time, compared to something like Demo Man where the crane has a big purpose.

It's certainly a great value in the amount of "stuff" you get for your money, but I have a lot more fun playing most of the other Superpins.
