Enjoyed this game immensely. Loved the different objectives and the multi-teared ramps and shots. Seemed like the game was laid out really well and has tons of layers to get through. Not just a 1 play and figured everything out. Lots of fun and loved teh INDY theme.

What can I say. I love playing this game. I blinged mine beyond belief. $1500.00 in gold plating alone.

This is definitely a lot of pinball stuffed into single cabinet with only two flippers. A lot of things to shoot for and a good set of modes that are both worth the points to complete and often can be completed. While the theme is great and there are some amazing effects on the game (ball lock and multiball start), it is not a game to which I return to play again and again. The main reason is that a lot of the action is compressed to the front half of the playfield with a couple of long shots to the back and ramps that always seem to be very hard to hit. Also, the POA, while a neat idea, isn't very fun, often isn't working correctly, and takes up a lot of playfield space (everything under it feels like wasted space.)

Absolutely a top 10. One of my favorites. Admittedly I am a wide body fan but this just a great pin. Very challenging - I have owned it longer than my TZ yet I can get Lost in the Zone easier than I can get into the IJ wizard mode.
POA is challenging and fun. Great music themes.

Keep it away from your windows because the cabinet decals really fade. Ball trough is problematic - just purchase upgraded opto boards to eliminate that issue. Always a crowd pleaser because everyone knows the Indiana Jones stories. Don't plan to ever part with mine since I have it in near perfect shape and love to play it.

Modes, modes, and modes...great game to play that's even better if you love Indy (who doesn't?). I like the path of adventure, but my favorite toy is the little pyramid that spins around and spits out balls.

Start out by stating I am a huge Indiana Jones fan so I am biased, but you could take that either way, good or bad. I would expect this theme to be great for pinball and it is, with tons of great gameplay, the sound and music are excellent and variable. There are many added side games/modes to complete and the multi-ball is great. Many great shots and the top left playfield is nice. Wish they had used a tank with a plane instead of two planes as "toys". As a pinball it is really, really good, for a fan it is excellent!! Better than some of the "top" rated games. Great wide body play field, incredibly great call outs from the actual movies, blasts away new games even though made over 20 years ago. Enhance with LEDs and is stunningly fun to play

The vocals, game play, animations, difficulty - all top shelf. This is a classic that will never grow old.

just had the game at the house for 4 months or so. i hunted a nicer condition example of this title thinking that it would be here forever. i think the game is awesome overall but i would rather have other titles at this time. the theme is just awesome. the callouts from the movies are great, as well as the incorporation of them in gameplay. POA is a very neat toy as well. its got a lot to offer for the potential buyer/player. this will eventually make its way back im sure.

my only beefs are that the 1 toy on this game can be mastered easily, theres so much on the play field that lighting can be an issue(not really a problem), the art fades easily, and finding someone to work on the POA if theres a problem is near impossible.

Played only once over at Kickback Pinball Cafe, and I had a blast with this game! This is not to be messed with (by rating...poorly ;) ), as you have many modes and Multiballs to play through. I'd say this would be one of those "must play" games.

IMHO best Mark Ritchie game. Great toys, great tie in with the movies. Lots of variety. I love the narrow escape gate.

I fell in love with this pin after just one play. I can see why it ranked so night by others. I would love to find a nice example and bring it home.

Great theme with exceptional artwork, sadly spoilt by a crass 80's style general midi soundtrack, mediocre gameplay and a unrewarding tight layout.

A game for those who prefer looks to game play.

Even after all these years, IJ still boasts one of the best themes in pinball. Action, Adventure and Suspense. This pinball really does put you inside one of the best movie franchises in history. The Gun handle ball launch, DMD video modes and upper playfield add to the unique experience this pinball offers. The game is not "deep" by today's standards but there is a great challenge offered by trying to get through each of the modes before attempting wizard. The 6-ball multiball combined with the wide body allow for some really exciting pinball action. I don't currently have this pin in my collection but I hope to get one soon. "See ya tomorrow Indiana Jones!"

Love the movies, classic backglass, upper playfield is the best.

It's so funny, for years I thought this game was awful. That was due to playing it on location where they were very poorly maintained and weren't set up properly. Then I played a collector's quality version and decided I needed to put it on my wish list. Eventually I found one on Craigslist and WOW! What a game! With limited space (5 games), I cycle games out frequently. This one is staying put!

What makes the game so great? Well, everything. Great theming, great sounds, great animation...but most importantly great, GREAT game play. Everything just feels right, with no wasted shots. It's ridiculously deep, with tons of different modes. Even the video modes, which usually stink, are fantastic on this game.

I've always maintained that Monster Bash is the greatest pinball machine I've ever played...but over the years, IJ is inching ever closer. Cannot say enough good about it!

Loved the IJ movies (well the first 3) and this pin integrates this theme very well. Plenty to do here many modes and multiballs as well as 3 cool video modes. Love the music and the call outs. The only minus for me is that the game is a little floaty because its a widebody. A great example of a pinball from the top of the golden era of pinball.
