This game in my opinion is a masterpiece. This game has so much going on with it and in my opinion is by far the best wood rail machine. With the artwork and the awesome gameplay this machine will forever have a place in my heart.

Gusher is undoubtably one of the greatest woodrails ever built. With the unique invention of a disappearing pop bumper-- later used by JPOP in Cirqus Voltaire-- and very shootable Harry Williams geometry, Gusher makes for a challenging and fun game. In addition, the George Molentin artwork on the backglass, the vibrant color combinations and hand-drawn typography used on the playfield are just gorgeous, if not perfect. Trying to get the maximum score of 8,990,000 is very difficult, and I've never actually seen anyone do it!

One of the most beautiful backglasses of all. A very colorful playfield only adds to the beauty. The disappearing pop bumper is a very cool feature. Trying to hit it without advancing the selected number is tricky. The gobble hole in the middle is dangerous before all the lights are lit and then tantalizing once the specials are lit. Almost all targets are reachable with the flippers, making it easy to get tantalizingly close to lighting up all the numbers (1-12). Keeps you coming back for more. A real winner

Such a great game. I wish there were more of them out there for people to enjoy. The disappearing bumper always keeps me wanting one more game and the art work is awesome. A real peice of Pinball history.
