Gemini is my 3rd EM and it is a really fun and challenging pin. The art package is amazing. I believe this is one of the last Gottliebs to be produced and it doesn’t disappoint. Not sure why people give a low rating to sounds. Games of this era were obviously all chimes and to me the nostalgia of it is great. The layout is perfect imo. Lots of drops and challenging angles to hit. The rules are pretty unique and don’t get tiresome. As someone stated before it does play particularly fast for an EM. I was lucky enough to get an original fully restored. To me it’s a piece of playable art. Can’t imagine there are many out in the wild or in personal collections for that matter so if you get a chance to play one I highly recommend it. If you want to own one be prepared to pay around $10k. Worth it? I’ll let you decide.

My dad bought me this game back in 1984 due to good grades in school. Actually wanted Bally’s space invaders but that was too expensive. Think it was around $600-800 back then. He bought this perfect pin for $268. What a blast for almost 5 years of ownership. I sold it when I graduated from high school to a coworker before I went into the USMC FOR $230 since it was used. Never new to clean, wax , etc back then. Never dreamed this pin would be a collectors pin. I wonder if this game is still operational in Springford PA, but I am thankful to have played this great EM from 8th grade to 12th ! Beautiful artwork and classic Gottlieb chimes.

Not too many people get to play this game as is it rare and expensive to own.

This has to be one of the best looking EM’s in existence. The playfield layout is solid and the rules are a blast. I have mine setup as difficult as it probably can be and I still roll it on an average game I wish they would have created 100k - 900k lights on it as it is a high scoring machine. I wouldn’t say it is overly long player but it is definitely generous even on advanced settings. The bottom line is that may be the best EM ever made, looks like they saved the best for last as I believe this may be the last EM to be made! Hope you get a chance to play it!

The game is amazing. The artwork is exceptional and the gameplay is fast and smooth and you do not tire easily of it. Feels like a very polished game and is quite a bit faster playing than any other EM I have owned or played. The backglass is so unique you could probably look at it for an hour in amazement of the artwork. Truly a gem if you can find one to play.

Gemini is a rare game that Gottlieb made at the end of the era of EM games.

The Pros:
An utterly brilliant art pax and a pf layout that demands your best gameplay. The geometry of this table is about as classic as a 70's Gottlieb pinball game gets. Fantastic artwork and geometry on this deck means that any time you are playing this game, you are being challenged visually as well as with your pin-gameplay. Sniping drop targets is what a game like this is about. Once you light up the PF, anything you do is worth lots of points!

The Cons:
The copy I played was set up rather "easy" rolled it again and again. This table needs to be set up nice and nasty to make the most of what this game has to offer. Only 300 were ever made. Who knows how many are in pieces or in landfills...ugh.

The Takeaway:
A damn fine game if you can find it. A truly fantastic and psychedelic pinball table that will make you come back again and again when set up properly. I wonder why they never made a SS version of this game?

I had the good fortune to play this gem of an EM machine at a recent exhibition. The artwork is absolutely stunning, one of the very best out there.
As far as the play itself goes it doesn't have any outstanding features but it is fun with good rules and a decent shot selection.
I don't understand why only 300 of this game were made. With that quality artwork combined with a very fun game this gem should have been selling like hotcakes.
