Design team

Sorry, but we don't seem to have any information about the design team of this machine.

Noteworthy features

  • multi-integration microchip computer design: no separate ROM and RAM dedicated chips needed but used custom chips to hold ROM, access RAM and PIA features within itself, similar to Bally's Brain board idea (see Bally home-use-only pinballs).
  • Uses a 28-pin MPU R6504
  • single, resettable drop target design
  • rollover star switches
  • 3 chimes
  • knocker
  • horseshoe left loop
  • rolldown side lane with 2 entries
  • pin-jumper settings for up to 3 replays and options of awarding extra balls and specials
  • LED displays for scores and credits
  • separate LEDs for ball-in-play and number of players playing, similar to EM machines
  • right-outlane gate to feed ball back into shooter lane
  • plastic gear flipper design to minimize alignment issues
  • fully functional test mode capable of testing one GI string, feature lights and output chips, solenoids, and LED displays.

Trivia

  • Cocktail Table Style
  • custom microchips capable of holding ROM and internally access RAM with PIA functions
  • identical design exported as Fascination's "Eros One".
  • Among the 3 different versions, System 3 is the most reliable and replaces system 2 due to its protection design for the 6530 chips. The PCB is colored beige instead of green.

Backbox ornament(s)

There is no backbox. All displays and feature lights were incorporated into the apron.

Video mode

This machine has no dot matrix or video display, so it has no videmode.
