Fish Tales has a nice flow to it. The ramps do get a bit repetitive but it is a solid and fun game. Had it in my collection for awhile but it got a bit old. Did not like the music. Cool video mode.

this is a table that you better bring the A game or it's gonna make you look silly real fast, not a lot of open playfield at the bottom with post there that will send your ball sdtm. not a hard game to get to multi-ball but keeping them all on the table for long just ain't gonna happen, something else that ain't gonna happen is the super jackpot, this game just doesn't want to give those away. being able to volley the boat ramp all the way to the monster fish let's you know it's gonna be a great day of pinball for you but your probably still not gonna be good enough to get that dam super jackpot. a good game just don't make it one of your first ones

Chris Granner at his best. Did you love taxi? Can you imagine the fast x ramps from Mark Ritchie combined with maybe the best soundtrack Chris has ever made? Do u prefere fast paced action gameplay or do you have already a 'stop and go' pin like twilight zone at home? Then this is the perfect addition to your collection. The art and the funny topper are terrific, too. My favourite pinball when i need a fast game where skilled shots are necessary. Easy to learn rules but hard to master. This is definitely one of the best pins in history.

Fantastic game overall! The bright, colorful art draws me in, and the gameplay is rock-solid. I was afraid I would feel the game was too ramp-happy, but in truth there are a few really important non-ramp shots, and the back-and-forth mechanic of the boat ramps is fun but challenging.
Some people say the music is annoying; I grew up playing Banjo-Kazooie on N64, which feels like its music was inspired by Fish Tales, so it doesn't phase me... I actually kinda like the music, if I'm honest.
Also, the video mode on this (shooting water skiers) is just plain fun!
Overall, I'd say it's good fun, spectacular enough that anyone can enjoy it, and campy in all the best ways!

Great game flow...love the boat ramps! Very challenging to get multiball thru the Caster's Club. Lightning flippers make the game even more challenging. Not the deepest rule set, but is incredibly fun & challenging so keeps you coming back for more!

Cool theme and sounds tie together with challenging shots and rewarding jackpots. Not extremely deep but chasing those supers will increase re-playability. It is brutal after making the tight lock shot to start multiball and then drain out or be down to one ball and have no score to show for it. Get that Monster Fish.

There are a lot of games that are technically better than FISH TALES, but for some reason this is the game I play most in the collection...I guess it's what's known as X Factor (not the dumb TV Show but the intangible quality that makes something inexplicably awesome)! There's something particularly satisfying about hearing that starters gun & a bunch of speed boats fire off when you achieve MULTI BALL. It features one of the great SPINNER SHOTS in modern pinball as well as a really cool VIDEO MODE. And obviously the Mark Ritchie cross over ramp I fell in love with on TAXI keeps me coming back to that boat in the middle!! I could talk about FT all day but I've motivated myself to go & play it instead. AWESOME!!

This was my first pin and have owned it since 1997. I still throughly enjoy playing it. The rules are straight forward. Mastering the Caster's Club shot is key to getting multiball and jackpot progression. Key is try and get to the 200M super jackpot with three balls in play. You got to love the topper and the fish tail slapping.
